Can't do a balanced shop. Good for cheap beer and snacks, but if you've planned a home-cooked meal, don't expect to find all your basic ingredients there. There are always empty spaces in the vegetable section.

Great shop, great staff, great service. Didn't encounter the problem with the £5 frozen offer... Bought it a few times now and never had items out of stock.

Yesterday,  December 11, at 7pm, I went there with my husband to buy us a botle of wine.
While at the self-checkout machine, the system asked for a supervisor approval due to the alcohol content. 
The supervisor, while at the till serving a full line of customers, shouted to us: “ I need to see both of your documents".
But, I (27 years old )  was without mine. 
My husband ( 32), with his documents in hand, told me to wait for him at home. 
I decided to wait for him outside of the market when I could hear that the supervisor started shouting, using all her lungs, in front of the whole shop, that that was against the law, that it was proxy-sale, and I should know that "in this country the law is very tough".

While the argument went, the supervisor shouted even more, saying that my husbund should know that in this country you cannot break the law, and we should know the law to live in this country. Then, she, Italian, shouted, in Spanish, "If you don't understand English I'll tell you that in Spanish". 
But we didn't even speak Spanish. 

She kept shouting at my husband for 5 min in two languages and a full line of customers enjoying the show. 

My husband, shocked has just left the groceries and went away completely ashamed, while she still shouting at his back.

It was unbelievable!!! I didnt expect that my family could be so humiliated.

Forget about the frozen food offer for £5,they seem to always have one item out of stock,just wondering why?
