Had an amazing time with friends. We managed to escape just 5 minutes before the the end! It was quite an intense game and we had a good laugh as well. Our host was very helpful as we stuck with one of the clues. Definitely recommend it. Perfect activity for quality time spent with family or friends! Five stars for the experience and the ClueHQ team!!! ⏳
Visited May 2019 I came here with my family to play Detonation as I had a Groupon voucher that allowed up to six people play for £45…a very good deal! Our host was friendly and knew when to give us tips. However, there was a frustrating wooden maze that we had to be given the answer for because it was too fiddly. The room itself was a little basic design-wise, but there were lots of puzzles to keep us busy. It was my Mam’s first time she was just in it for the photo at the end, haha but she had fun, as did the rest of us. It was a relatively easy room- ideal for beginners- but some of the puzzles did have us thinking, so more advanced players would enjoy it, too. We were given another offer after breaking out with nine minutes to spare and so I’m looking forward to coming back and taking on the other rooms!
Manchester Clue HQ managed to fit 7 of us in last minute on Easter Sunday and we loved it. Really great fun for teenagers and adults alike - everyone enjoyed the experience and we were kept busy hunting around in the room with the some great and timely assistance by the clue staff. The whole thing was very 'immersive' and well worth a try for a different and enjoyable day out. thanks. lees
Very enjoyable escape room game. Friendly staff who knew exactly when to trigger clues to keep the game exciting. Only issue was our own inability to get combination padlocks to open the first time we tried a number causing us to need reassurance that we were on the right path on a couple of occasions!
We went to Clue HQ as a team of 5 to play their first game Detonation. After playing all the games in Warrington we were excited to play a brand new game. The game itself was advertised as a 1 star difficulty but there was loads of stuff to do. The lady looking after us let us know after the game this is to ensure there is plenty to do for the full hour. We escaped with 2 minutes to spare and felt like heroes when leaving! Can't wait to come back for their new game 'Cell Block C' which has just opened. Great work Clue HQ!
Went to clue hq with a group of friends for a birthday present - was the best time. Well thought out puzzles kept us entertained we didn't get out, but we'll definitely be back to play more of their games. Csi - you're our next game... Thank you Sam for looking after us :
Great fun and fab service from Mark who rearranged our timeslot at the very last minute due to train issues and to Owen who put in an extra shift to enable us to crack the code. Absolutely brilliant customer service. Can't wait to come back.
Me and friends keep going to the Clue HQ locations. They are a great way to spend an hour or so and I always have a great time. The range of difficulties men's there is something for all abilities
Played Clue HQ with the family for an early Christmas late birthday present. We all had a great time - even the parents who weren't sure it would be their thing. They can't wait to go back!
I have done a few of these escape rooms at different places around Manchester and this place was easily one of the best. Only somewhat negative point to make is that there is a brewery next door, so there is a slight smell until you get in the place.
