The organisation of this club was not good. It took girls an hour to get in, whilst it took the boys only 10-20 mins (there was only 1 female security guard compared to 4-5 male). We also took over half an hour to retreve our coats from the cloakroomb due to lack of staff and organisation. The music was extremely repetitive and vert loud; there was nowhere quiet to escape this or even talk to a friend except the outside smoking area (which we shouldn't be expected to stand it just to get some quiet)! The tables were also breaking  (granted,  the seats around them were very comfy). We went as part of our VI form social, so we were between 16-18 yrs old; this meant a lack of respect from staff as we were treated not like normal customers.
Everything was overall unpleasant and overpriced (£2.50 for a small bottle of water!) and most of the time was spent organising how to leave early (which in the end we did)

Also went as part of a sixth form social and found it very disappointing. To start with, there was a rude female security guard who had one look at me and my friend and decided we were ‘too drunk’ to get in, despite the pair of us being sober and her having no rooof of this. My other friend was breathalysed which came up over the limit although he had only had a couple of sips of a smirnoff ice, which is less than two units anyway. A lot of other people had been denied entry. My friends and I eventually decided to split up to try and get in, which we were successful with eventually, despite waiting outside in the cold for an hour. The cloakroom was extremely busy so my friends and I decided to leave our coats in the upstairs balcony, although when I returned there at the end of the night mine had been stolen. These aspects ruined the night for me personally and I did not enjoy my time there.

Heads Up Lads! Went here on the pull and got talking to a young lass named Jade, only to find out she has two kids and looked about 6 months pregnant with the next! Accompanied by what looked like the ugly sisters and her 50 year old mother! Moral of the story, NOT A GOOD SPOT AT ALL! Not a good place to go, used to be a good spot but now full of boys that want to fight every five minutes, Rude staff, very rude bouncers who do nothing but prey on the young girls and a very unique class of woman.

If your looking for a good night out in st.albans I would avoid this.

I have to totally agree with the reviews. The bouncers are rude and will ruin your night out
 They are miserable and not understanding at all if you ever do get a problem. Club is lovely and good music but the security.....especially the BOUNCERS!!!! Are terrible. Wasn't like this a couple years back and was a happy friendly club. Especially the female bouncer. She just miserable!

I had been batchwood yesterday and one of the staff member from the bar hardly throw to my face an ice cube for no reason. I know it was definetely him because nobody else was around. After this i didn't say anything i just looked at him and went to an other room but i had been kicked out because i was "rude" with the staff... i did not even order from that bar before. I couldn't belived what is just happened.
I never ever had this kind of terrible service and bad night. I definetely would't recommend this place if u don't want to hitten with ice cubes by the staff. I wasn't even drunk so i know what i am talking about...next to it the bouncers are rude and the toilets are nasty. Hope the managers will read this feedback and they will contact me.(i've got injury on my face!!!)watch back the CCTV....
