Cloud 23 provided an unforgettable afternoon tea experience for my mum and me. From the moment we stepped into the elegant atmosphere. The panoramic views of the city skyline were breathtaking, creating the perfect backdrop for our delightful tea. The selection of teas and treats was impeccable, showcasing both classic favorites and innovative twists. Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the presentation was impeccable. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff ensuring our every need was met with grace and charm. Cloud 23 truly exceeded our expectations, making it an afternoon to remember. Five stars without hesitation!
Stunning location and a luxurious setting. I was greeted and seated and placed my order which appeared shortly after. I only had a drink because I’m poor but it was a super Earl Grey iced tea. I was free to walk around and take pics and Declan provided a cheerful chat which was engaging and friendly. Nice one chap.Service: 5/5
I've been coming to Cloud 23 on and off since not long after it opened and it has been through better and worse times in terms of the food and drink quality. After a gap of a couple of years since my last visit, I didn't know what I'd find but was happy to find the place back to it's better days. We had afternoon tea which was of a good quality - I particularly enjoyed the bottomless coffee; the flat white was great. There were gluten free and vegan options and they were able to cater for our group of 15 without any long waits. The views are of course spectacular, day or night, and lift a pretty good food offering to a much more impressive overall experience.
I don’t think it’s worth the hype, Manchester hasn’t got enough sky scrapers to create breath-taking views that you experience when at the Shard or in Manhattan, it was very disappointing and underwhelming. You pay £25pp for window view, just to look at a building site… Our drinks were nice and we appreciate the effort cloud 23 put in, in regards to my husband’s birthday and bringing him a little sweet treat, so thank you for that but due to the very disappointing views in the day time, I don’t think this place is worth the visit and we won’t be returning.
Treated my mum to an afternoon tea while she was visiting Manchester and we had such a great time. A Tuesday afternoon was nice and quiet so our food and drinks arrived in good time. We were given plenty of time to choose drinks but weren’t left waiting around. The selection of sandwiches suited our tastes perfectly, as I am vegetarian. And the cakes were delicious too. We would go as far to say this was one of the best afternoon teas we have had with a great choice of drinks too. As it was a quiet afternoon, we were allowed to stay beyond our booking time, which was lovely of the staff, so we treated ourselves to cocktails which were amazing also. Thank you to the staff for such a lovely day. We will definitely be back with friends. Vegetarian options: Afternoon tea has its own selection of vegetarian sandwiches!
Birthday drinks with my wife and it didn’t disappoint. Seated at a window table and really attentive and knowledgeable service. Great advice on cocktail choice and of course a brilliant view. Clearly not a cheap experience but very worth it for a special treat.Service: 5/5
This was one of the best English teas I have ever had. The food was absolutely amazing and there were many options for coffee and tea. Our reservation included one cocktail each which was also beautiful. I went with my girl friends and we had a great time. The service was alright, but it was often difficult to get ahold of our waiter and there were many times when we were out of drinks and needed a refill. Other than that, this restaurant was amazing.
The venue is one of the most stunning places I’ve ever seen. Drinks really tasted and different. Shout out to the bartender didn’t catch he name but she had a dangling star earring Dietary restrictions: Have allergy lady was super helpful and informative without doing too much
it is absolutely LUSH here!! me and my partner went for our anniversary, we got a free desert on the house since we told them what the occasion was, i bloody loved it. seeing manchester from so high up was surreal, we didn’t pay extra for window seating since it wasn’t busy but if you know you’re off at a busy time it’s advised to pay for it my partner has a fear of heights and he even enjoyed it when he got over how high up he was
My first visit here on my birthday. A friend from Texas sought a great view of Manchester and this was our spot! Eve greeted us on floor 23, showed us to a super window seat every seat in here is super and proceeded to bring us everything we needed. Tea, cocktails, vegan and non vegan treats, ice, plates, napkins, photos everything! She was a STAR! Eeeeven found me a vegan cake at the end of the night, OMG! Thank you for making us feel special, Eve! The crowd here is young and trendy, we had been travelling and were feeling pretty windswept...we had a blast! Vegetarian options: None. When we went, there were only 5 menu items.
