Visited 15th June 2023 5.30pm 4 in our party food was excellent I have to say the Duck Lasagne deserves an award in my opinion, stunning, the crab linguine was also rated highly, can it be repeated ? I'll be back again soon to find out.Food: 5/5
I've visited this independent, family-run restaurant several times over the past few years and it never fails to impress me. The couple who run the restaurant and their team really try their best to provide great, friendly, professional service and absolutely delicious food every time. I cannot praise the atmosphere, service and food highly enough. I would definitely recommend.
We were greeted by a really nice waiter and taken to our table. The service was very good on the whole. For our main meal my wife and I both had the crab linguine. Unfortunately both our meals were swimming in oil/butter and had lots of crab shell, which really wasn't pleasantFood: 2/5
If you're booking at a weekend you have to pay £10 per person deposit in advance.. With today's lifestyle of people getting poorly with covid at the last minute, I think this would encourage people to turn up, poorly or not !!!! Tables and chairs are comfy enough. Service was adequate. There is only one toilet per gender, so you end up having people awkwardly waiting outside to use the loo. The food could be better with a little tweek here and there.... the muscles were unexpectedly spicey, and the breaded steaks were quite dry. I do personally also believe that £65 for a steak is too much.......
Fourth visit here, not as good as previous visits. Food very heavy on the garlic which didn't add but rather masked the taste of main dishes. Charged extra £1 for gluten free, whilst happy to pay for my dietary restrictions I should have been informed rather than just seeing charge on the bill. Staff efficient but sat at rear of restaurant near toilets .. which reduced atmosphere. Shame as usually good.

I've eaten here a couple of times now. The food is delicious, the restaurant is warm and welcoming, the service is friendly and prompt. Everything is incredibly well priced for the quality you get. Honestly, eat here, you won't regret it.
Stumbled across this little Italian restaurant when just having a wander through Stamford. Lovely atmosphere and the staff were really friendly. The food looked amazing and smelt and tasted delicious. Would definitely go back to eat here again.Food: 5/5
