Great find. If you stay at Stamford you may find that many of the restaurants are closed for dinner. The atmosphere is very kid friendly and brightly lit. Service is great and they provide a nice shot glass of lemonade to start off your meal. The prices are reasonable and there are nice vegan options like the lentil spaghetti and the salad with excellent goat cheese. Vegetarian options: Very good options for vegetarians.
Such a lovely date night. The service was friendly and knowledgeable and the food was AMAZING! my partner said it was the best lasagne he has ever had!! We will be back.Food: 5/5
Ask Italian provides a delightful Italian dining experience. The warm and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for a wonderful meal. The menu offers a range of delicious options, from perfectly cooked pasta to flavorful wood-fired pizzas. With its authentic cuisine and cozy ambiance, Ask Italian is highly recommended for an exceptional Italian dining experience.
Very good service, a lovely waiter that was very helpful when it came to choosing. Food was delicious, can't wait to return and try other dishes... the only gripe was it was a bit chilly in there, we sat near the front window but it wasn't very warm
We often pop in for a coffee, it is so nice to enjoy a good quality CUP of coffee rather than the bucket you are normally offered in the High Street. Likewise, we have enjoyed both lunch and dinner here. The food is always good and the menu is very reasonably priced. Coffee and the Bruschetta is great for elevenses. I would highly recommend ASK Stamford if you are looking for a good pizza pasta restaurant.
Visited with my wife on a whim, was disappointed with the service we received while waiting to be seated, the app was not playing ball. The waitress was apologetic for the poor service we had received and stepped up. The food was greatFood: 5/5
Typical branch of ASK. Good choice on the menu and the food is usually very good. This market town has a limited choice of chain-type restaurants, so this is a good choice if you're looking for that reliable, familiar type of restaurant. I would definitely have recommended in the past. However... I ate here again with two friends on a cold mid-week evening in January 2023. The restaurant was fairly quiet but they seemed short-staffed. The waitress was helping out in the kitchen, as well as serving tables. The starters took over half an hour to arrive. One was fine but both calamari had to be sent back as they were soggy and the replacements were not much better. One main course was lovely but two pizzas were greasy and soggy in the middle. We ordered a second round of drinks from the manager but these never appeared. To be fair, the manager did knock both calamaris and pizzas off the bill but the food and service were just not good enough on this occasion.
Exceptional food. A great menu, especially for me being vegetarian. Every code coursexwas 10 / 10 and I had three courses. Will visit again soon. Only downer was the chairs were not very comfortable.
Been here a few times before. Usually go on a Wednesday evening when it's a bit quieter. Had the mushrooms Al Forno for starters, followed by a new menu item, Pollo Prosciutto, which was very well presented and under 500 calories for those looking after their figure. For desert I had two scoops of raspberry sorbet, again very nice. The service was good, the lady who took our orders was pleasant and helpful and the cost was as expected. We never felt rushed and was able to enjoy our meal. Given that I was travelling to meet friends who lived in and around Stamford and I was making a 50 mile journey to eat out with them I had no reservations as it has always been a great dining experience.
Had a lovely dinner here, calamari and cheese/garlic chips, and my brother had a pizza with chips. Food was delicious, a short wait and a great atmosphere.Food: 5/5
