Lovely friendy staff and great gift items and cards!
Shop is on retail park, so extremely large parking area. Shop is extremely clean, staff very helpful and they carry a very large stock for all occasions. Well worth a visit if you want a special card.
Got the cards I wanted and it's good to browse shop well set out on one way system, due to covid felt safe while shopping
Was overcharged for a sale item which is annoying. Only noticed when I got home and its too far to bother going back. I know wrong till prices are unavoidable but checking the price of sale items as they go through would avoid this
I went there this morning to buy a Yankee candle diffuser and whilst there I asked them to also inflate a SMALL dog shaped balloon too. they charged £5 for the balloon!!!!! I had my little girl with me waiting to get her balloon otherwise I wouldn't have paid for it. That price is total ripoff. I asked them why so expensive and they told me that this is a large balloon which totally isn't, actually is smaller than the balloons they have in store so they need to charge me double the price!!! I used to buy candles, diffusers etc from them regularly but I'm never going back there.
Clinton's speke retail, I walked in 10min before closing, and needed 6 balloons blowing up, the Male assistant was so helpful he blew them up, put them into bin bags , even though they were shutting, he still took his time and was very pleased
Everything you need from cards to gifts. Great layout in shop and easy to find what you are looking for. Not many staff on shop floor to help, that’s the only downside
Great selection of cards & gifts for all occasions, from low prices to more expensive, lovely quality. Helpful and friendly people in this store.
Just been to the shop in speke spent 15 minutes choosing cards then waited to get served and was then told it was cash payment only there is no sign to tell me this anywhere in the shop so I spent my £12.50 in whs Smith's instead and will not be returning to Clinton's card shop again
All ways great there at least 3 times a year, for b/day, Valentine's and Xmas for card's and small gifts.
