Established in 1948, the award-winning Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway, rated the No.1 tourist attraction in North East Lincolnshire, has been delighting old and young alike for generations.

Whilst on Holiday we went for a Thomas the Tank Engine day.  It was brilliant. Our 4 year old loved it. The fat controller was there and Thomas of course. There was plenty to do and we ended up staying most of the day. 

Do visit if you are able, we will go again if we happen to go back to the area.

The Signal Box Inn is located at the lakeside station and has won lots of awards for the quality and variance of its real ales and ciders.

It has gained the top award from TripAdvisor in 2017 and cider pub of the year for three years running from the local CAMRA branch.

Also The Signal Box Inn is one of the top five pubs listed in the CAMRA's Good Beer Guide 2018 for Cleethorpes.

this has grown so much over the years. super old world station with nice cafe. the train are steam and you get a long ride along the coast and back although you can get off at the far end if you wish and have a stroll back.very recommended.

Good fun ..miniature steam engine train running on 15inch track ...with near identical stations and all the duty personnel...worth trying if you are in Cleethorpes... definitely recommended
