Visited my niece for the holidays from London and popped by with her my son and her mum to get them their very first school shoes, a very important event to us. It was extremely busy luckily I am an ex shoe fitter so we were okay for shoe fitting Umar, the shop assistant that dealt with us was extremely helpful, attentive and great with the kids and made what could have been a stressful experience perfect. I ended up buying my own pair for school too! Props to him
I visited the Gunwharf store today 17/06/12 around midday and was served by a young asian lad. He was very helpful throughout getting the shoe sizes both me and my wife requested without making it seem like anything too difficult. He has always been like this everytime me and my family visit. Always polite and courteous and always delivering excellent customer service. Thank you to the young lad.
Was badly in need of some new shoes so went with a friend and ended up with two pairs plus a pair of sandals. Lady think her name was Kerry very helpful as well as making sure I bought what was best, unlike the fellow in a nearby store whose attitude was 'sell, sell, sell!' Unfortunately the same can't be said for their 'customer service' from their central office. One of the shoes developed some damage don't think it was the fault of the shoe and after much faffing about photos wanted all the advice I got was to contact a cobbler! Cobblers, indeed!!! Update:- Clark's have offered to send me a tube of 'Scuff Cover' which should come in handy, although perhaps they should have suggested it when I bought the shoes or sent it when I first contacted them as well as help with the cost of any repairs, although again they require photos, so may not be worth messing around on that front...
I went to buy some trekking shoes today at Gunwharf. Caroline the manageress went out of her way to try and find me some. Such a lovely lady and a really great role model for her staff. Thank you so much Caroline for all your hard work today, I know it wasn't an easy task. It was very much appreciated.

The staff were very helpful in measuring and giving advice on baby shoes... they do recommend getting a babies get measured every 6-8 weeks
Great store to get cheaper shoes, Lovely school shoes and shoes for my little boy. Today I would say they need more staff upstairs when busy. Great service at the till as always.
Great customer service at the store today. Freddy was super helpful, polite and friendly. He worked brilliantly with my two sons to measure their feet and found them a pair of shoes each at a fantastic price point. Very pleased - thank you Freddy!
Great support for kids fitting. My son wears a fixed splint which makes finding a pair of shoes extremely difficult. The staff in this store, namely Gypsie and Kerry, could not have been more patient and supportive. They took their time to understand our individual needs and we walked out happy with a pair of shoes. One of the least stressful shoe shopping trips ever.
Tash was very pleasant to deal with, very professional, like asking what sort of clothes I wear so he could match up the perfect shoes I was looking for. He knew what he was talking about, and in a friendly manner. I ended up buying 2 pairs of shoes due to a great deal that was running. Well done Tash, it was a pleasure and I will be back.
