It seems weird to review a carpark but here goes. It is dead handy for the shops and generally you can get a space easily. You can pay either at the machines or with the ringo app. Its a good place to go when you need to recycle your glass too.
My daughter got stranded on 30th December with a flat tyre in the dark in this carpark. After the AA refused to come out and help her, despite her being on her own, a wonderful parking attendant called Andrew came to her rescue and changed the wheel on her car. I cannot thank this man enough! Parking attendants so often get a bad reputation but Andrew went way above and beyond and was a total hero. Thank you and I hope you will read this!
Just a short walk to town centre,always managed to find a space and paid a reasonable price.all you need in a car park.
Plenty of spaces in the centre of Lowestoft. Parking is very reasonably priced. First 30 minutes is free, payment can be made by the Ringgo app. Plenty of disabled spaces. Easy access to the local shopping centre and London Road North. Also close to the Library.
Conveniently situated near the library, and uses Ringgo app for your ticket, so you can get 30 mins free. Also short walk to the high street past the library. Never been too busy that I couldn't find a space, but haven't been at really peak times.
Decent location to main town centre. You can use the Ringo app to pay if you don't carry much cash like myself, the app is free and easy to use. Although it's not a massive carpark there is plenty of spaces during the week. Only a few mins walk via the library to town centre.
I only give it 4 stars. This is not to do with the car park as such but it's visitors. Maybe if the one way system was better it would get 5 stars. But if you try to park when it's busy, it's very much like shopping in Primark with a 90% sale on...
Lots of spaces but you can no longer buy one hour. It's either a free half hour or pay for two hours at 1.50. The parking machine gives no change and required a lot of button pressing to enter number plate which is a bit concerning with a virus still circulating.
Can't use your card to pay for parking, or notes, so you must have coins. Not a huge amount of spaces but it's close to town so it's convenient
Most pointless , difficult to use ticket machine I have ever come across. I had to wait in my car on the car park for about an hour and the number of people who struggled with the ticket machine, gave up and left, council must be loosing a fortune.
