2 weeks ago I took my 5 months baby girl to Claire's in Victoria Centre Nottingham to have her ears pierced. I was very worried and stressed after reading the previous reviews and I thought we'll just walk in and decide there if we'll carry on and have it done. I asked the girl who was there if she did it on babies obviously I was afraid she might be inexperienced but she was very calm and walk me through, she said they're piercing babies ears every day and she looked like she knew what she was doing. She also noticed I was worried and stressed and tried to put a smile on my face. She was very professional and inspired me trust and I decided to go ahead and have my daughter's ears pierced. She waited for her colleague to arrive to do both ears at the same time. Everything was very fast, baby cried for a few seconds then calmed down. I forgot to ask her name, she is truly one of the best people I've come across and very professional. Baby's ears are fine, no swallowing or infection, we are also using the rapid after care solution that came with the earrings 3 times/day. We'll definitely go back there and look for the same girl and I will recommend her to all my friends and family. I took my time to write this long review for all mums who are worried like I was. 5* for that chick she did a wonderful job
I have 2 little ones . The staff in here always friendly. This Saturday 1 of June they doing make up and my 2 little one’s had loved it.
My daughter had her ear pricing and it fall out which I went to Claris the next day they couldn’t do and if I wanted to it again it’s £30 which is so unfair for a single pricing
Very professional ear piercing service with added after kit all for leas than £50
I visited with my twin sister. A calm quite atmosphere, with a variety of styles, matching various ages, sizes & budgets. Also staff ate very pleasent & helpful.
DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! Extremely poor customer service! Ordered 2 bags online which were very small and there were no instructions on how to return. No reciept/invoice provided so did not feel comfortable paying for return not knowing if I'll get my refund back. Don't waste your time ringing customer service because they won't answer or will either disconnect. Can't get a refund in store either because there is no reciept. This simply is not good enough. Been told to contact customer services but the staff in store know that its an endless loophole. So where do I go from here? £50 down the drain. Absolutely ridiculous.
We had the best experience with ear piercing in this shop. The staff were very very friendly and professional .The staff explained the procedure very clear. They made my child very relaxed as she was having her ear piercing today for the very fast time. As a mother, I was very pleased with the fact that my 10year old was very relaxed . I would recommend me this place .
Over the years of growing up I’ve got my first piercing here, watches, hair accessories, glitter sprays, nail polishes, headbands, phone cases, lots and lots of earrings and other little things I’ve picked up definitely great for younger children and adults really. wouldn’t recommend getting anything more then a first piercing here as you should get needles instead of guns as it’s safer and better for you.
Absolutely poor service for online orders. No customer services as such. I placed a click and collect order which arrived in store but never received any confirmation to collect it from the store. The staff at the store was surprised why i went there without confirmation. When I insisted them to check, they had received my parcel already but I had not received any update from Claire's. After that I placed another order for home delivery. It said 2-3 days arrival. I urgently needed it as this was a present for someone but again it did not arrive and I had to get a last minute present from somewhere else. I rang the customer services no response!I rang the store and the lady sid she would ask the customer services to email me or call me but absolutely did not hear from them. The parcel has now arrived after a week nearly which is of no use to me as it did not arrive when i needed it. So a trip to the store soon to return this. Very disappointed!!!
I turned up to booked appointment to get my baby’s ears pierced, was told couldn’t get them done as she’d only recently had her immunisations.. But when I called the store a few days prior to check what was needed for her to have them pierced I wasn’t told this. It’s also not on the website when booking. Only proof of them is needed. So I’d drove all the way from outskirts and paid for parking for no reason. I wasn’t given an apology or even any invite for a new appointment. Not great customer service.
