Excellent and efficient service. Over the moon now the roof has stopped leaking and the price was the very reasonable. Would definitely reccomend
Good job and efficient
We had a terrible experience with CJB Roofing. By far the worst trade we've had on our refurb. Quoted the job in January 2023, booked in for 'around the back end of March, start of April'. I had to call Chris a couple of times to get an update on timescales - we had other trades such as render and landscaping booked in after so we needed to know to keep them updated. Chris kept telling me to ring him in a week. Why is it the customers job to make contact several times. Just poor communication. I wish it stopped there but in addition, the quality of work is terrible. Dry verge screwed to the gutter - like that's not going to cause problems in heavy wind and rain. Pointing was all cracked after 1 day. Dry verge looked like a toddler had tried to draw a straight line and there was a gap between the first and second row of tiles. The facia should have been fitted higher. The front tiles almost hang over the gutter - just terrible quality and finish. The quote was £5500 3 bed semi which included scaffolding and skips. We decided to put our own scaffolding up as the renderer was due after and we kept the rubble to build up the patio. We asked Chris to adjust the invoice to account for us putting the scaffolding up and not needing any skips a total of £1000 - £600 for scaffolding and £400 for skips. Now Chris says the quote didn't include scaffolding or skips. If you do foolishly use this company I would recommend you get a written quote. The verbal quote did originally include soffits but Chris later said he couldn't do them either. Here's the good part - after questioning all of this and saying I would hold of paying until the problems were rectified he threated me by saying we would strip the roof off, no talks of trying to rectify first. All in all, absolutely shocking.
