Park is ok with good spaces, but gets 2 starts because of the ticket machines. They seem to be design to make people give up and go away so they can get money from fines maybe? I had to try 5 times before I managed to get a ticket out of it. Excessively complicated, on purpose I would say.
It is what it is, a car park. Reasonable size and not far from the town centre. Perfect for the local library and council offices as well as the civic centre. Walking distance to a couple of supermarkets but there is another that's a little nearer. It is pay and display.
Half of this carpark is sectioned off for people attending the Civic Centre for Covid vaccines. It is very well signposted where to park if you are attending for a vaccine, lots of signage and volunteers in high vis to direct you. There is also no charge for parking if you are in the vaccine section of the carpark.
Paying for parking is not always a good experience.
Not it is paid, but the method is ancient. Who is using coins these days? Off course they accept only coins.no internet payment, no cards, just bloody coins invest in technology instead of another enforcement officers
A car park for parking your car when you need to go somewhere near to this car park. Watch out for the random dudes standing in the middle of the car park telling you where to park when you are already in the car park when you need a Covid jab at the Civic Hall.
Car park is being used for covid injection centre. Lots of volunteers directing you and helping you. Well actioned
