This is by far the best service I’ve received from any company in London. I came home from work yesterday to my laptop dead, wouldn’t turn on even when plugged in. I ran my laptop over to Forest City Computers at 5:30 they close at 6 I didn’t feel rushed at all, they do free diagnostics which is so helpful and amazing. Hassan was extremely patient and polite, he took my information and kept the laptop for the night. He called me by 10:30am the next day with the diagnostic results and said he could have it fixed for me by 2pm. He fixed it by 1pm and even put malware detecting software on my laptop, removed viruses, saved my data and even traded my generic brand charger to an HP charger that’s more compatible with my laptop. He took so much care when fixing my laptop in the short time he had it. I really couldn’t be more grateful! If you have any issues and you’re looking for good honest people to fix something for you, I highly recommend this place. They even have a 3 month warranty on their work. Thank you so so much for fixing my laptop!!
I recently had to have a minor physical repair to my damaged laptop, which was done by Forest City Computers. The staff were kind and helpful, and the repair was done swiftly and competently at a fair price. Compared to the "big box store" naming no names! which I had first asked about repairs my experience was incredibly better. At the other store I was told that the laptop had to be sent away, which could take several days, and an "assessment", with repairs, was estimated at $300 to $350. At Forest City Computers I was given honest, precise advice with a full explanation of the issues. The laptop was repaired by the following afternoon, and the total charge for all the repairs was $169.50. If I ever need computer repair again I will be heading straight to Forest City Computers!
It was my first time going here to have my predator gaming laptop fixed. I was told that the fans and the dirt inside were causing the annoying sound and was prone to overheating. They replaced the fans and cleaned my laptop. The quality of service was superb! Al was very helpful, cheerful, and knowledgeable. The price is worth it. Would recommend this shop! Keep it up!
Absolutely exceptional service by Ali at Forest City Computers! They recently set up our computer system at OK Tire and we couldn't be happier. Their expertise and attention to detail are top-notch. The experience was good and the staff was supportive and they fixed my laptop instantly and all parts are genuine and I have a great experience with forest city computer repairs.
The internal battery in my HP laptop expanded and cracked the top of the keyboard case and also the bottom of the case below the battery. Then my hard drive failed making the computer useless. I took it to Forrest City Computers and they were able to remove the battery, repair the major cracks and get the touch pad back into nearly new position so that it can once again be used. They had to replace the hard drive as it was beyond repair. All in all, their service was both exceptional and also very economical. It had taken the computer to them around 10:45 am and was called at 3:45 pm to say that it was repaired and I could retrieve it. I was amazed that it only took them about 5 hours to complete everything I had requested and the cherry on top was the cost of the repairs was far less than it would have cost to purchase a replacement lap top. In addition, most of my applications were salvaged. My biggest task is now to reset all of my passwords and reload some of the special programs that I use.
I brought my laptop in to Forest City Computers after trying out a different repair shop who failed to solve my issues. I should have came here in the first place. They fixed and upgraded my computer without issue and saved all my data as well. Everyone I spoke to was kind, knowledgeable, and committed to ensuring I was comfortable with my purchase. I would highly recommend this place. If I ever have computer issues again in the future this will be the first place I call.
Gotta love a family business. They always tell you up front what needs to be done. Costs are always up-front. Honesty, communication, decency and good work has always been my experience with them. As a 30 year IT trainer and software guy; and having had computers repaired elsewhere. I suggest you try these guys first.
Great work by Al. Impressed by prompt work and solution given. Heads up to this guy. I was scared as I was unable to get my laptop started. But they solved it within 2 hours.
