Was treated badly by a teacher at this college I reported it and they basically called me a liar. They could of easily checked cameras, asked students ect... this teacher made fun of my appearance, deleted my hard work, Shouted at me constantly and be littled me. College told me they take her word over mine without any investigation and said if I have a problem with it take them to court. Was a horrible experience. I had to leave because I wasn't being treated fairly, I was being treated less than everyone else. It severely effected my mental health and the way the college spoke to me, treated me was horrible.i felt unheard and discriminated against.
The college is amazing and also very massive to look at. Also the diversity is getting better and better as it gets. But I have a lot of problems right now. Some of the support workers are good to help me and prompt me if needed and some of them will say ‘I am not going to help you or something like that because they cannot do their job properly or they just have a problem like wtf right now. But some support workers are always on their phones and not helping a special need person properly. The two lecturers are fine and two are not. Because the two lecturers are helping properly and making sure the work is good to understand and then the other 2 lecturers are cheeky, having an attitude problem, being in a desperate rush and more other negative things as well too. When is coming to assessments, a staff making his own choice that he’s going to do assessment, but is my choice my assessment, but not his choice. For example if I came at 11:30 at college to take a taxi and take my lunch at 12 he said 12:15 and then eat lunch at home early like wtf but I’ve changed it by myself anyway that life is about making choices and decisions for yourself/myself as a special need person like me. Life is about making choices for yourself, but not for other people. The food is half good and half not good. Why do you need barriers in the college, is no point. The accents are really rude in Glasgow which can be even worse. Be aware that I am autistic. They think they’re always smart, but they’re not, but nobody is perfect anyway. Some of the stuff from the food court, cafeteria and more as they sometimes don’t put the names of the food or the amount of money, changing the names or even putting the names properly unless I can take a picture to show it which can make properly common sense. And one last thing they don’t know how to pronounce my first name and my last name properly.nnOnce again, thank you for your patience and service.
I loved this College and all the lecturers were excellent aswell .I did my HND in Beauty Therapy at this College and it was excellent .I loved it and all the people I .met.i am now a Beauty Therapist and it was the best thing I ever did.i love it
beautiful place and friendly environment. If you are considering studying here then I recommend it! You will not regret your decisions
have been to this college for a few years and loved it and had some really great experiences and lectures over the years. But I had a lecture that was really horrible and I really didn't feel comfortable or supported I don't know if I would go back. I am at another college and I am loving it. I am not saying all lectures are like the one I had. City of Glasgow have some great lectures who will help and support you
