Star Care Medical Training Academy spent his week teaching EFAW for the Faculty. The facilities are excellent, with friendly helpful support staff.
Great college course which helped me get onto a great university degree. Excellent teaching staff
This seemed like a good college with disability access and was planning to attend, however there is an employee who “helps” with enrollment who refused to enroll me because I was mentally ill. He used stigma against those who happened to have a disability and said “you’re not welcome here. Cob won’t take you in if you’ve got mental issues” Well he was extremely wrong. I’ve managed to pass my GCSE’s, get a diploma and become more independent as a person. Hopefully nobody else will be treated so poorly for having mental health problems.
I had spent a few years here between 2010 and 2013 my focus was sports coaching and youth work. I achieved a level two in both then a diploma in Youth work. These opportunities helped me open a self employed business as a sports coach for young people. Even when I had to wind my business down in 2014 I had gained some good experiences and gained confidence.
I learnt a bit from a few excellent teachers here I recommend it to any who wish to have a career instead of a job - but what's the diff in that? Voluntary on benefits - apprenticeship - big head mastery the lot - have a good day and night everybody - Keep calm and the peace as best we can - respectfully to the bitter/sweet end. :- respect - love - peace.
Different people have different experiences. For me, this place has been a literal life saver. For others, maybe not so much. Unlike many of my peers I go to college to learn, not to leisure. So the extremely long breaks they give me don't help whatsoever, but I do acknowledge that I'm in the minority there. Overall, I don't have a clue why it's only rated 4 stars. Having one bad experience at a given place doesn't warrant a 1 star rating, and from what I can tell that's what a good number of the poor reviews are basing themselves upon. I'd give it a better rating if I could. If you were asking me directly if this is the college for you, the answer would probably be yes.
Really Good college it really helped me where I got to my future to become plasterer did E3 construction course and plastering took me on board. Now I completed 2 yrs now and passed level 1 and E3 I would do level 2 but it would be bit hard from theory side as they said it won’t be for me but now I’m soon doing dry- linning Appreticeship going to miss the college been good Thank you so much :
City of Bristol College is the best college in this city because you have a lots of opportunities and the teachers are really helpful, they want just the best for you and they give really really really good advices for your future. Trust me guys I am in this college for 1 year and I am doing GCSE. I am really happy to join in this MARVELLOUS college.
when i went there almost 3 years ago i couldn't have had better tutors university centre they treat everyone as an individual and the college respects all diversity unlike other colleges, very good college for a city as i come from the country i was pleasantly surprised , lovely staff
What a truly awful experience! Staff were rude, unhelpful and plain vulgar towards me and my father. They looked down upon us and could be clearly heard talking offensively about us when we had walked away. I would recommend everyone to stay clear of this facility and it’s staff. Awful experience. Would not recommend.
