A wonderful Cupcake tearoom right positioned right under the York minster! Crumbs Cupcakery has a huge variety of delicious flavoured cupcakes - including themed cupcakes for the time of year I was very tempted by a Halloween cupcake on our visit! The staff provided some great recommendations and were very friendly. There is an outdoor seating area where you can enjoy a spectacular view of York minster, as well as cosy indoor seating. As well as scrumptious cupcakes, me and my friends also enjoyed Hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream - perfect for an autumnal Sunday!
A brilliant little cupcake and coffee shop near the Minster. Lots of choice and variety of both cakes and drinks. Good selection of gluten free options as well, we have the White chocolate and Raspberry gluten free cupcake. Seating is mainly outside the shop front but there is also a couple of tables inside up a few steps the shop door is quite narrow. Staff are lovely, chatty and very knowledgeable about the cupcakes and York. We would definitely recommend a visit if you are nearby.
My favourite place in York for a gluten free cupcake! Been going here for a sweet treat for a few years now as it's delicious, good value for money and always lots of flavours to choose from. Loving the recent refurbishment inside too. Thank you for my tasty gf white choc and raspberry cupcake today!
Really cute place. We had lovely cupcakes and hot chocolate. This "white mice" cupcake was our favourite today, but we'll be back to try the other flavours. We sat outside with a view of the beautiful York Minster.
Visited here for a baby shower. We decorated cupcakes and then had afternoon tea. The staff were very friendly and attentive and kept coming round to ask if we needed anything else. The food was really delicious and there was lots of it, amazing value for money! They actually stayed open after hours for us and I can’t thank them enough. Would recommend to anyone!
Had an afternoon tea here, absolutely brilliant. A lovely team and the food is excellent. Will go again next time we are in York. ... Went back again a few days later just for a drink and they were brilliant again.
Where to start, crumbs cupcakery is just perfect! Charlotte, Jen and all the team are just amazing. I had my baby shower there, and nothing was too much for them, the service and quality of the products are exceptional! I would recommend for any of your cupcake needs, super tasty.
Great selection of cup cakes, no other food though. Good selection of drinks and they have plant milk. Sadly no vegan cup cakes. Good prices and great location
This is a lovely cupcake shop next to St Williams college, hidden in the shadows of York Minster. It has a relaxed shabby chic vibe to it and offers a range of delicious cupcakes and drinks. The staff are lovely. There is some seating outside when the weather is good and comfy seating inside when it's not! They also do cupcakes that are gluten free.
Visited Crumbs at the end of June whilst on a visit to York from Sussex for a wedding. Spotted this place on Google maps so decided to take a look and possibly purchase some cakes to take back home for my mothers birthday. I entered the shop and saw a lovely selection on delicious looking cakes on display. I was greeted with 2 lovely smiling shop assistant who offered excellent service. They were very helpful in me deciding what cakes to buy from the very large selection that had on offer. The cakes were nicely packaged up for me to take. I returned home with these cakes to a delighted mum. The cakes were delicious! Thank you Charlotte and Jennifer. I wish you could deliver to Sussex
