This is the first time I wish I could give 6 stars! We went for Saturday evening meal with a couple of friends and had the best evening we've had for a long time in Newbury. We started with cocktails which were very well made with our starters. I chose from the specials menu salmon tartare but there was also plenty of choice from the standard menu. I also picked my main from the specials menu, lovely lamb chops. The puddings are all baked in-house by their specialist baked and are amazing! The staff were all so friendly and helpful and even when I think we'd outstayed out welcome were so polite It's getting very popular so make sure you book. We'll be back again very soon.
Absolutely amazing atmosphere! Came here for breakfast and it was superb! The pastries and cakes are baked fresh and the chefs have the freedom to bake whatever they like so you never know what will be there. They are hoping to do a homecooked meal service like hellofresh eventually which is a great idea. Upstairs is so chilled out, they even have a swinging chair! I'll definitely be back!
What an unexpected pleasure! We were just passing and stopped for the all day breakfast. What a treat! This is a feast for your eyes and taste buds. The staff were truly fantastic and they have clearly made a serious effort to make this a great experience for the guest. We loved what you are doing. We will come again. Vegetarian options: Tons of great veggie options.
We went to mint to try their Mediterranean breakfast and it did not disappoint! So good and so fresh, the homemade bread and butter were my favourite! And the interior is so beautiful!
Beautiful little venue in Newbury serving artisan coffee and a mixture of cuisines - brunch and Asian-inspired dishes. Chirashi poke bowl is highly recommended.
I spent lovely evening with my friends at this place - great atmosphere, absolutely fantastic service, very welcoming staff and food the best in the town. I would love to especially recommend the scallops!!! I will return soon.

Went here for lunch with some friends mid-week, the decor is modern and inviting and the hummingbird mural on one of the walls is beautiful. I ordered a fresh mint tea my favourite! and the smoked salmon wrap with sweet potato fries which was excellent. Food service was a little slow; we only have an hour lunch break and had to rush at the end to get the bill and pay. I would definitely go back, but maybe not for lunch on a work day.
Disappointing unfortunately. We were excited to try this new place but the portion to cost ratio was off. We ordered the Mediterranean shared breakfast for two people at £28. We had two small slices of avocado and one slice of toast each and some garnishes. The eggs were delicious but with one egg each it wasn’t worth the £28. We had to order extra toast at an additional £2.60 and one slice of bacon of which they charged £2.00 for! And it was undercooked. They did offer to take off the bacon cost after our shock at the price. Service was also slow. Won’t be going back again. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving feedback directly as they were a little defensive and I feel wouldn’t take the feedback as it was meant to give honest feedback to a new restaurant!
