Food took over 2 hours to arrive, driver nearly left the food at the wrong house, and the poppadoms arrived completely crushed up. Food was good but would have appreciated better communication about the delivery times. Over promised & under delivered
not going to lie this takeaway used to be top notch before a change in ownership a couple of years ago but its been a while since i last went there and boy has it changed.nwalking in the shop front is tatty and looks rough and it just gets worse from there.nthe floor was so greasy i was slipping all over the place even though i was wearing hiking boots with a really good sole.nordered a curry and pilau rice and have to say it was terrible, the curry was bland and the meat looked stringy and i had to remove several strands of unidentifiable stuff from it as i wasn't sure i should be ingesting them they gave me a pot of what i assume was chopped onions but suspect they were left in the fridge for way too long as they were starting to turn. I have to say its the first time in my whole 53 yrs on this planet that i have ever encountered soggy and by that i mean wet and mushy pilau rice.nI have spent most of the morning on the toilet and as this was all i ate yesterday it has to be the culprit.nAVOID!!!, I know I will be in futurenjust checked out the website, nice assortment of stock photos in the gallery, if only the food was 1/10th as good as those images look
Got a delivery, the food was ok, it took almost 2.5 hours to arrive, I only ordered a bhuna and a few other little bits, when the food arrived eventually it was hot, the bhuna had overflowed so they had double bagged the food, poppadoms were crushed and snapped and my naan was burnt
Indian takeaway located in Llanfairfechan. They have a variety of options in terms of the curries. The curries tasted good and the portion sizes were also adequate. The starters are a let down. We had food from here for two days and both days, the starters we ordered were not up to the mark. Nevertheless with limited options in the locality, this one is kind of a life saver.
I think the negative reviews must've caught these guys on bad days.nOne of the best meals we've had in a while, mixed starter, biryani, sagwala, Bombay aloo and naan, all really tasty and huge portions, easily enough for 4 meals!!nBiryani was slightly hotter than we're used to but not so spicy that it's unpleasant all chefs have their own recipe!. Lamb in the mixed starter was a little chewy but awesome flavour. Sagwala was lovely and the naan was a nice mix between crispy and soft, if we're in the area again, will 100% go again.
