The Unlimited card is absolutely worth the price. The location of this one is perfect for those spontaneous trips if you're local to Cardiff! The cinema is always very clean and comfortable, and staff are friendly and helpful.
Absolutely amazing, I watched titanic in 4d, it's cheaper than odeon, very clean, 100% defo reccommend. Would definitely go again, even if it meant paying £300.
Always a great place to come to. I do sometimes venture out to the other Cardiff City Centre cinemas, but due to closures etc, this particular cinema has stood the test of time the last couple of decades. Staff always do their best, and never really any problems here. I've come here sporadically the last 20 years or so and hope it continues to trade for many years to come. Thank you all :-

Pretty dire screenings in the modern age. They need a serious upgrade. Staff are oblivious to the rules, and the screens, especially for 4DX, are not fit for purpose. Another dire shame is the quality of the 3-D glasses that you have to pay for separately They are blurry and really ruin the experience. The food quality, for the price, is atrocious. Revamp or remove!
The best place to watch a film. Specially 3D 4DX movies. Nice experience.
There were a lot of options regarding visuals in that cinema 2DX,3DX,4DX etc .. I recommend 3DX there weren't any staff when we walked in so it confused us, buying tickets is a self-service but you get the specific glasses upstairs. There is an escalator and lift to go upstairs no stairs but the escalator was broken when we went don't know if they fixed it by now the visuals were amazing and the seats were comfy. It was pretty tidy for a cinema and the staff were all really friendly but it did lack seats in the lounge which made the 1st floor look pretty empty. There were only 1-3 benches and seats were stacked to the side. It was great but we would prefer if there were seats near the lounge for us to rest on.
absolutely atrocious, Horribly uncontainable seats. outdated screens with a low resolution and poor dynamic range all topped off with the sound systems clearly not working even though staff insisted that they were. no surround and no bass.
Great time watching an autism friendly performance. Lights on low, ears not ringing at end, ok to bring your own snacks + accepted that if folks need to fidget and move around its ok. The cinema was good, the screen was not 100% lined up but it didn't affect the viewing. Standard issue sticky floors which I'm guessing are supplied to all cinemas via a specialist distributor ...
Went to see Avatar which is a long film. However the temperature of screen 2 was ridiculous. At least 30° making it very uncomfortable for viewing. Complained at the front desk and was told they have an engineer and it'll take some time to fix. Still not resolved at the end of 4 hours. Won't be going again until fixed.
