Cigala has been at the heart of the famous Lambs Conduit Street for 17 years. It was one of the first restaurants to bring the diversity of Spanish cuisine to London and remains to do so. Cooked with love, attention and simplicity, Cigala redefines comfort food.

Authentic Spanish food cooked to order. Relaxed Bloomsbury vibe. Great location. Been twice in two weeks. Welcomed us with small baby too. Some outside dining too.

This is an amazing little place tucked away in Russell Square. The decor is lack lustre but the food is incredible. Seafood Paella is splendid.

Great local restaurant with authentic Spanish flavours. Not pretentious and we like it for that.

I booked a table online for dinner at 8.30 on Tuesday. Received email confirmations from both Google and Quandoo. Arrived to find the lights out and chairs on tables. Used to be a good spot once. Had it permanently closed?

This place is either permanently closed or the owner just don’t care about consistent business hours. I have come three times at various times of different days of the week within the business hour they listed on their website. And every time it was closed. Don’t waste your time.

Sadly appears to be on its uppers. Used to have an interesting menu and extensive wine and sherry list, when I was last there 2 years ago. Now 6 wines and very average menu. One overworked waitress and terrible atmosphere. Won't be back.

Nice for a change. Good wine. Good real Spanish food. Nice people.
