I went to cicily bridal for my first shopping experience as I was newly engaged and the lady we saw ruined my day and the advice she gave me was very wrong. It took me another 6 months to find a shop that gave me my body confidence back because the experience lingered in my head. I am a size 14/16 having just had a baby at this point. Cicily bridal have nothing in this size. There dresses are solely 12 and under. The lady took one look at me in the changing rooms and proceeded to say that all of the dresses I had chosen wouldn’t fit me. She had about 4 dresses in the whole shop that I could try on and some separates. I went in asking for a fishtail dress, as my stomach is flat and I have a good size bum 🙈. This is the style I feel comfortable in. The lady told me that fishtails are good but they show every “lump and bump” and are very “figure hugging” so maybe not best suited to me. I also said that I did want to loose some weight for my wedding, about 2 stone, (which I now have done) and the lady scoffed at this and laughed.... I came out of that shop humiliated. I eventually went to another bridal shop and my bridesmaids and shop assistant thank goodness convinced me to try a fishtail on because her words had stuck with me and I felt awful in everything. I understand this is a boutique store but I have been to other similar style stores and had a VERY different experience. It took me 6 months to find my dress because this lady killed my body confidence.

I couldn't recommend Cicily Bridal anymore. I had such an amazing and private experience here and the showroom was just so lovely! It's definitely worth a visit girls and the team were so friendly!

My sister came to the shop this weekend to start her wedding dress search and I would just like to say how impressed I was with the expertise, advice and general loveliness of the lady who helped us. We were a rather large party, but were accommodated with grace and even though my sister didn't find her dress that day, there was no pressure to buy and a promise to call if a dress came in she thought my sister would like was made. Very enjoyable experience thank you.

I went along to Cicily Bridal for my first ever appointment in search for my wedding dress. As soon as i walked in i was made to feel very special and at ease. The ladies at Cicily Bridal are lovely,helpful and very knowledgable. I'm definitely going to return and would recommend Cicily Bridal.

Cicily Bridal is Tamworth's newest Bridal Boutique. They stock a fabulous range of gowns to suit any brides taste and needs and have accessories to compliment. Victoria and Lisa are both helpful, knowledgeable and above all, a pleasure to deal with. Would recommend without fail to any bride to be.
