Amazing place with beautiful views...the church was refurbished in the Victorian times but is much older. So much history and character. The church is generally open for service on a Sunday morning so if you want to see inside then find out the service times and go 1/2 hour beforehand.

This is a peaceful location with magnificent views over many counties. The site is unique as there is no tarmaced road access. Lovely.

One of the iconic walks of the North Downs (part of the North Downs Way), coupled with a visit to a charming and very historic country church, if open at the time of visiting. A series of concerts is held here throughout the year, in addition to the regular services; and the concert music in my experience is of the very highest quality.

Although the walk to the church from the nearby fee car-park is no stroll along a high street, the views and woodland scenery form an experience memorable for all the best reasons. A helpful toposcope in the graveyard illustrates the landscape.

Kind parishioners sometimes offer tea, coffee, wine and light snacks to refresh the hungry traveller or congregation.
