ordered salt and pepper chips, spring rolls, sesame prawn toast, chow mein. All the food was either overcooked or layered with salt! worst takeaway i have ever ordered. will never order from here again, it was all thrown in the bin!!!
The sweet and sour chicken tastes great, but the chips or rice that comes with the meals never seen very warm. It would score much higher if they were able to get the basics right.
Not sure why so many people seem to have it in for the Chung Ku, in Prescot but I’ve never had a bad meal from them. Sweet and sour chicken is delicious as is the steak in Hoisin.lovely family run takeaway.
Worst special curry ever had EVER. Olives and mixed veg in the saltiest curry with a thick film of grease on the top. Bacon and liver dinner in gravy that's so sweet ud think it was bbq sauce. First and last visit here
Me and my girlfriend Loved the chips from here every time we walked home from the retail park we'd share a small portion. last time we went I was counting my change and I was roughly 3p short on change. You'd asume that because we were frequent regulars they would let us off with the 3p but no.... Out of principle it was last time we will ever go back to this place...Loyal customer losed through the greed of 4p well done Chung Ku ; note: No, it wasn't the change missing. It was the fact that we were THREE PENCE short of £1 and you wouldn't let that slide and just let us off considering we've ordered from here many times and been in before on our way home. Just disappointed that you wouldn't overlook THREE PENCE
Special curry it was dark brown like oxo A little warm sos just not nice I will not be returning +£7 yak . Ps i live to far to take it back .binned it.
Sorry for the 1 star but the fried rice was not fried it was much no taste to it the chips wasn't chippy chips they were frozen I no that cos I buy the same once the curry and sweet and sour wasn't nice it went in the bin
Ignore comments about food being sub par, whoever said all that is a liar...it looks like someone is trying to ruin what is a great takeaways reputation ....our family have come here for about 3 years and never had a bad meal yet, especially the homemade gravy & curry definitely recommend, not your usual english gravy but its lovely we love it…beef black pepper & sui mai with chilli are amazing, keep up the good work guys x
Best Mixed grill I’ve eat and by far the tastiest gravy EVER from a take-away. Highly recommend
Worst chippy I've ever had had an idea when I went in and there was no counter to see fryer .The chips were vile the curry and rice were vile as well absolutely gutted with the quality of food will never go there again
