Ordered a Louis Fraser mortice door knob + escutcheons on the 12th July ............ and it was delivered yesterday ............... after 12 weeks! It's in 'dull black' so isn't an esoteric item and is freely available and noted 'in stock' at many other sites. Unfortunately I chose this one. At no point in the ordering process was I advised the knob was out of stock. At no point other than the initial order confirmation have I been contacted by the company - all communications have had to be initiated by me. The 'account' set up when I ordered isn't updated in any way and is totally uninformative. And at no point have I actually been told what the issue is and who has been responsible for the inordinate delay. I'm sure they're fine if you go into the shop - but my experience of the online facility is one of the worst yet. And the minimally padded 'jiffy' bag the items were despatched in - is not suitable protection for such a heavy item. Very disappointing service.
I purchased over £130 worth of product . I waited around one week for delivery - No show. Therefore, I phoned and enquired the whereabouts of my order with a guy called George - I was told that the product was not in stock and won't be available until May. I was not told about this at the time of ordering. I had to chase for everything including the refund. Poor customer service. No answer to email enquiries. Waited over three weeks for refund, after continuous chasing. Disappointed !
When running a trolley hire business you are always in need of small ironwork parts to keep them serviceable. CHS aimed to achieved this unfold, by replying to numerous emails and even took time to deliver them by hand. I am very happy with their services and without their co-operation I wouldn't of been able to continue on with the following festival season. Thank you.
Was looking for a specialist part which I phoned ahead to order. Ian took time out of his day to locate what I required. The product then arrived in a timely fashion. Very happy.
Order 26th April 2017, now 12th May 2017 - no items delivered, money taken, phone not answering. Scam company from what i can tell - don't use.
Came to the store with a broken lock. A staff member named Ian was extremely helpful and resolved the problem quickly. I will definitely be returning in the future

Went into CHs and a lovely chap named Ian who was a very helpful man, knowledge was exceptional, good quality product, I would 100% recommend Chs for a great personal experience! Thanks guys
Not impressive. Staff didn't seem very competent and order was delayed by 7 days before cancelling
