Held a wake here. Function room not ready on arrival. One member of staff serving 50 people for 40 mins. Tea + Coffee cold. We had to set up there laptop for 45 mins to get our music and slide show working. £20 for a bottle of white wine! No table cloths and room cold and uninviting. Then charged £100 for the room when most places do wakes for free! No refund offered. Disgraceful.
Booked a 40th there; absolute shambles! Turned up to dress the room 2 hours before the party started no furniture in the room, had to get the furniture from a differnt room myself, and has to carry it all up two flights of stairs. I expected the place to be clean it wasn't. When I booked the room I gave them a list of drinks that i would want. When my first guest turnd up I was told no beer on draft and after 1 hour in to the party they ran out of vodka, the card machine wasn't working so every one had to get to a cash machine despite me checking with staff prior to people arriving that there was a card machine that was working.
This place has been here for years, it's the gift that keeps on giving. Another great night with fantastic music. We went in with our friends and stayed there till the last drink was poured and the last track was played
Chorlton Irish Club is brilliant. Laugh Local is a brilliant idea and I am now becoming a regular. The beer is a reasonable and the atmosphere is good. They have a good smoking area. A couple of years ago that would have been important for me It has a nice friendly atmosphere and certainly sounds like the new manager has done a really good job.
Was here for a wake and was very shocked to have been made to leave so early on. Never experienced such a thing in my life before. Surprising considering how much money they must've made on the bar throughout the day.
Excellent links to community and music providing high quality traditional music given its relationship with the outstanding carousel sessions and other session musicians.A real ale would be a bonus but maybe get one of the fast growing Irish cask options
Fantastic night at I A S C how could it not be, with musicians such as Tim Edey, Gerry O.Connor and Gino Lupari. Thanks to all, especially Michael, don't know the name of the Irish dancer but she was amazing, Thank you once again all.
Been to a couple of events here, the 80/90s Bop local and the comedy night. Really good venue. Bar staff friendly and drinks reasonably priced. Great community venue
Fabulous folk music venue with parking and friendly folk serving good beer. Not well signposted but worth seeking out.
This place has been refurbished. Beautiful great venue for a party. The staff are excellent. Great place.
