Always try and stopover here or nearby on the way to the Lake District. On this occasion, not only did we have a lovely meal but it was their quiz night great fun and free entry to boot! Good food, good company - all nicely socially distanced. All in all a very good visit. Looking forward to the next time.
Really lovely spot in a scenic area. I can’t recommend one specific dish because everything was excellent! Lots of thought went into the decor, China, drinks and menu.

Brilliant food, although you have to attract the staff for service, and they don't check if the food is ok. But as the new rules have only just come in to force, i will ignore. Recommend.
Great food, especially the Steak and kidney pie. Friendly staff and good beer. First pint out since March!
