It is a real lovely place to go to for a break, after a nice walk around the estate we wanted to get a coffee and a snack and they have a wide range of food and drinks. Also they have adult beverages if you fancied a beer, a nice range of lagers to IPAs. I really enjoyed the coffee as it was nice and strong. The baked goods were fresh and delicious. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I really recommend here and the decor is the same as the rest of the estate and on a cold wet night we were warm and dry inside. We highly recommend here. If you found my review helpful please press like thank you.
I went here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and ordered the grilled chicken, avocado bacon and pomegranate salad. I was pretty disappointed to see that this consisted of about 80% rocket, two small, dry pieces of chicken and basically nothing else I think there might have been maybe 3 pomegranate seeds buried there somewhere... Considering it's such a beautiful surrounding, it's a shame the food is so poor with very limited options, unless you want a burger or pizza. If you do order either of these, they are better quality. Also, obviously it's very difficult to ensure the pigeons stay away, but I don't think I've eaten outside in London with so many. All the staff seem to do is shoo them away where they inevitably fly all around the customers. I feel customers should be asked to bring their plates back in. Definitely won't be returning.
Can be pricey but food is always good. Especially the sourdough pizza and halloumi wrap. Oat flat white also good. Staff don’t ever crack a smile tho !
I went inside to order food to take out and was questioned why I was wearing a face mask, he lectured me saying I shouldn't be wearing it. This is the 1st time I have been asked about wearing a mask, I thought the man should not have done that like I did not query him about not wearing one. You are there to serve customers and make them feel comfortable not give them the 3rd degree about a very personal choice. This is a cafe that allows dogs to enter the cafe with their owners which I thought was unhygienic and I get questioned about a face mask?! I have been before and my experience was fine but this time a big no, I may not come again.
Nice cafe with good coffee and a selection of sweet treats on offer. Both indoor and outdoor seating available so weather appropriate.
Horrendously high prices e.g. to get a few chips on the side with your sandwich, you pay £2.95 - the sandwich ready being about £10 and the "service" is barely passable. Not a great amount of lunch options really.
This cafe has in recent years adopted a two menu, two-price policy. Decent, fresh, well priced food before 11.30 - bacon bap £3.50. Expensive, microwaved food at lunch - pizza £12 plus, soup and stale bread £7.Food: 2/5
Surprisingly good food for such a small café. We've eaten each time we've been, and have been pleasantly surprised each time. Fairly quick service, and plenty of seating, though most is outdoors. Parking: No parking for the café specifically. It's in the centre of the site.
Well, this has to be about the most miserable cafe in Chiswick and beyond. Teas and coffees are lukewarm at best and staff’s attitude matches perfectly. Such a shame, it could be sooooo much better if the owners cared which they don't seem to. I guess they have the captive Chiswick dog walkers audience so are not too concerned. What they need is another cafe in the park for some healthy competition.
Finally the coffee house landscape Chiswick House deserves! Amazing this new management... clean and well decorated, it’s looking great inside and outdoors, dogs are allowed inside and there are dog water bowls in every corner! Coffee is fantastic, a nice variety of fresh cakes and even Portuguese Pastel de Nata! Crunchy! Cool staff! A must!
