Good car park, close to the high st and to the trail. Pay using RingGo, about £4 for 4 hours. Found a spot quite easily on a sunny weekend.nSaw a parking inspector doing a round when we arrived.

Ample parking. 1 hr £1.50, 2hr £2.50, using RingGo, which is bit steep for such an open area.

Cut 80% of the carpark off and started charging for it. Hardly any spaces it's so stupid it's unreal. There's tonnes of space bu they don't want us there. High prices to roam woods. Beautiful land but absolutely nothing but trees and paths which is all we want but why charge so much and cut the car parks up and ban us. Run by foolish park staff

Car park was as described as you park your car there. Also the board said it shuts at 5pm but it was open until 8pm for 2 days in a row but after a certain time you can just park on the roads opposite the woods as it’s free.

Tried to pay for parking, app didn't work. Then called the number to pay, transaction could not be processed. So I decided to leave after being parked for 11 min as there was nothing I could do. One week later I received a £100 fine. Even if you tried to appeal you'll lose. Absolutely disgraceful. Council run scam.
