A decent range of Asian foods and delicacies. A smaller range of fresh vegetables, but always seems fresh. Decent prices and always friendly staff. I have asked a couple of times for various items and they always manage to have or can get in stock for me. Glasgow Chinatown is small compared to other Chinatown but quite well stocked, most popular Chinese grocery items seem to be kept in stock.
First time visiting today. The staff at the grocery store were friendly. I asked if they sold seaweed for snacking but they didn't stock it, however they did have the firm tofu I was looking for for my katsu curry tonight. I also paid a visit to the bakery and found vegan mochi as well as banana cake, which was delicious and very reasonably priced. £1.10 for two pieces of banana cake. I'll be back to get some more as well as sample their yummy tea menu.
Chinatown groceries is for the Chinese or those who have an interest in Chinese foodstuff. There is also a Chinese bakery located within and a beauty salon, lawyers office, transport logistics company and some other establishments. I went in because I liked the exterior facade of the place.
The building itself is a bit of a state on the outside, but the stuffs sold in the grocery is not bad, decent range of products to choose from
Alot of items are relatively more expensive compared to close by competitors. It's also small in size but has all the essentials for an oriental grocers for those in a hurry
interesting place. lots of the usual stuff. They didn't have some of my favourite noodles so it was interesting to see what other stuff they had.
great place to buy Chinese food... I like Pak Choi... and they always have it... great service and friendly staff...
For some items, the price is cheaper than other Chinese convenience store. And this shop gives 5% discount for student
Great for lovers of Chinese food, well stocked and an interesting visit.
Bakery is good. Had my birthday cake made there. Tasty pastries too
