Food absolutely terrible! And staff are unfriendly as well as unhelpful. The Pork Fried rice I ordered was ready in seconds which raised my suspensions of whether or not it was freshly cooked. The pork was merely a few under cooked, pale looking pieces in Comparison to the amount of rice. Will never use them again. And further advise others to stay clear. Not worth the prices they charge. If I had a choice I would have given zero stars.
Crispy shredded beef was rock hard and just broke into pieces, sauce weird. Salt n chilli chicken was rock hard, dry and not nice. Chicken balls soggy. Best bit was the free prawn crackers. Used this place for years but not again.

Well I have used China town for Years and have gone with the odd bad dish so had started looking around for an alternative takeaway. tonight I went back to see if they had improved and to my horror the takeaway I got tonight was absolutely horrendous and uneatable when I called them I got a half baked apology and he said we have changed suppliers and he would pass on my comments to the chef !! They are definitely off my Friday night takeaway curry list
Had a standard egg fried rice and chicken curry which is what I always order from a new Chinese. Pretty good to be fair. Curry sauce was spot on although a little grease sitting on the sauce, the chicken was cut into squares which wasn't as appealing as it could have been. The rice was ok though and quick service with a smile so all round a good experience
This place is amazing! I won’t touch a chinese from anywhere else in Gillingham now. No grease, tastes fresh and the meat is decent, none of this fake cubed chicken that some takeaways used. So far I’ve converted many friends and family to use China Town! Best crispy squid I’ve ever had and I’ve tried a lot! The peking chicken in amazing tried that last night, and the beef in yellow bean I ask them to make that one spicy chips and curry sauce are delicious! Only thing that could improve is the duck which is lovely and meaty to be crispier that’s my only wish great service food always comes quick and the staff are very friendly! Try it I bet you’re be converted too.
Their food is always fresh , hot and super tasty, there is no other Chinese take away I would go to, I ve tried a few when they were closed on Tuesdays but you can never compare the taste is just amazin. My favorite Chinese take away by far! Thank you for making such an amazing job.
Just ordered from here , used to use kung fu good but moved to Beijing inn excellent, so obviously now they have shut thought would try here. The house special fried rice is v weird, I'm sure it's actually boiled and has stuff dumped on top and not mixed through and bland taste. The house special chow mein - ditto , and v wet which I hate . And the duck in plum sauce I don't know where to begin, the skin is not crispy at all, it's like jelly ?? .. and the sauce is like sweet and sour ??!!!! 12 pieces of pineapple in it ???? Lol .. very unappetizing oh i did know where to begin lolol . Would not order from here again ever - not nice and expensive. Kung fu is so much better so back to them again from now on.
I have been doing takeaway from this place since 2010 and I always find food very good. Definitely 5* from me in terms of food quality. Thank you China town.
Best place of Chinese food, does an amazing soup. And also the food is very tasty and different as the usual stuff.
