This has to be the best Chinese I’ve ever had, honestly it’s so good, I can tell the main chef is a person who’s been cooking for 20 years minimum, I have found my new favourite Chinese place, love it. 5 stars. I ordered so much for only £20?! It was so good.
This place used to be a one of the best in Colchester. But now it’s gone really bad. We spent nearly £80 here today. Singapore rice noodles and rice was absolutely tasteless. Never ever spend money on this place. NEVER EVER…….

Absolutely appalling food. I asked for salt & pepper chicken and some Singapore rice noodles. I opened the container to find old chicken nuggets?! that were tough, chewy and tasted only of the ridiculous amount of salt they'd put on them. It was one of the most disgusting things I've ever eaten. The Singapore noodles were undercooked and unseasoned and there was lots of water in the container... No spice, no chillies, no garnish, literally just a box of plain, wet, raw noodles with a small pinch of cubed chicken tossed in. This easily takes the number one spot as the worst takeaway I've had in my entire life. Well done.
Lovely Food as allways. I know this as from a child 20 years ago , Showing my age lol they are still here lived in Roach vale round the corner 1995 & remember the family getting together ordering from china garden every year, Christmas, New years or any special family event i would allways have a smile on my face, So keep it up guys the crispy chilly beef tonight was delicious xx
Me and my family are regular customers, we come here and order the same thing, most times, as it is perfectly cooked and delicious to eat! We normally order 2 hot chicken chow mein and shrimp chow mein. They have very good service and they really take care of their customers food. Sometimes we're so tired of waiting for other food we come in on Mondays by accident. But other then that I give them 5 stars, for reasonably priced food.
Hello, just been to China Gardens to get my dinner: the pancake roll was just oil, and inedible, the lemon chicken tasted like it had been out on the side for too long and was not heated properly, really it was rank. The rest of the food was brilliant Have tried calling several times to report this but your line is not going through.

Ordered 2× set menu C £11 per person, only to received one full set menu C and one chicken with black bean sauce with pancake roll, leaving out 2 dishes from the menu. Then telling me that I won't get a better deal when I'm missing food that I had paid for. Definitely will not be ordering from here again.
Absolutely Disgusting Never to return chicken balls was not chicken if it was it was weeks old and been cooked so many times. Ribs terrible burnt that we could not pick anything off them. we didn't even entertain the rice . I did to complain but the person on the other end of the phone just said the manager was not there and i told him i would rite a review he just was not Bothered . so please take my word for this I have never had such bad trash never to return
