I have to say that anyone leaving a bad review for China Garden Takeaway either have their own bitter agenda, possibly a local competitor or they don't have any taste buds at all. In the time I've been using China Garden I've never had a bad meal, the food is delicious, I've always had great service with a smile and for a very reasonable price. I've also asked for slight variations to meals due to my health issues and China Garden have always gone the extra mile to make sure I'm a happy customer so that's 10/10 from me.
Quite disappointed with the meal, everything just seemed really dry rice, chips and the sweet and sour chicken and just wasn't tasty. It was reasonable price wise but there are better tasting places for a few more quid.
The special fried rice was one of the best I've had in Sheffield, finally! It seems so hard to find a good one. The chicken curry was really good as well. Again, I've had so many poor ones. The thing that let this place down was the chips. They weren't at all fresh which was disappointing. I know that chips are not Chinese but lets face it us brits still enjoy them with Chinese. I was even hoping that the place might be English style chips amazing with curry sauce as there is a fryer in the shop but it doesn't seem to be in use. Hence giving this place a 4 and not 5.
Never used these before. Ordered a meal on the off chance for a birthday treat. Food was very good. Will definitely use again. Tried numerous chinese takeaways in our vicinity but found this one to be the best by far.
The food was super tasty. Best black bean sauce in Sheffield! Fantastic mixed platter for starters. It were great! Just found my new favourite Chinese takeaway.
Great service and really nice food. I would ignore the negative comment as the person who wrote must have no taste buds and more of a chips egg and beans type of person. I thought it was spot on and I will be ordering again. Thanks china garden
Had meals delivered tonight for first time from China Garden. Absolutely delicious. This will be our ‘go to’ Chinese Takeaway from now on. Excellent.
Awesome friendly service and great food. Super fresh tasting compared to other Chinese I've had in the past. My partner also loved it. One recommendation would be to accept card payment to save a walk to petrol station cash machine :
After reading the reviews I thought I would try this Chinese. I am so glad I ordered, this is the Chinese I will be using from now. 12 years I've been trying to find a good Chinese takeaway in Sheffield, I've finally found it. Absolutely delicious thank you.
Very disappointing, rice was terribly dry, asked for egg Foo young and got a straight egg omelette, no onion or beansprouts, prawn crackers soft, chicken balls, huge amount of batter virtually no chicken..... Used to be great, gone significantly down hill.
