Great household store, sells lot of items for the home, specialising in curtain's and bending fantastic selection good prices
I bought some curtains Chiltern Mills a few months ago and I cannot rate the service highly enough, in particular from a lady called Avis. She helped me a lot on the day I purchased them and when one of the new curtains I'd bought had a flaw, she sorted a replacement pair as quickly as possible, keeping me up to date on a delivery date etc. She also advised on fittings and generally speaking, she could've only been more helpful if she'd fitted them for me!! The curtains are fantastic quality. I've read some comments about the store being dated but I think that's very short sighted as the items on sale are very good, there's loads of choice, prices are good and as I say, the service is excellent. I'd rather have old fashioned service over a shiny store!

I ordered A suite from chiltern mills was told would arrive before Christmas a 14 week wait ,and would receive call when it was ready, ,I had a message on my phone telling me to ring ,expecting to be told it was ready I rang them , only to be told they are having stock issues and everyone is being given their deposits back , leaving me now having to try and find another which means spending more time and money and not ling till Christmas , and my suite has been promised to someone else so if I cant find one in time I will be letting someone else down , So thanks very much chiltern mills
Bought a book case about 6mths ago but it was faulty. When I went back about it I was only offerd £30 to £50? off the price which, in my view was too little as they would have to sell it at half price if I'd returned it. When I finally chose something else that cost an extra £50 I was charged that. I shouldn't have been after all the hassle and aggrevation they put me through.
Found exactly what I wanted; blinds and curtains. The staff at Mills are so Friendly, approachable & knowledgeable.
Love this shop. There are lots of home furnishings to choose from and larger items such as beds etc. all very competitively priced! There are bargains galore. They also offer a made to measure service on certain items. The staff are super friendly and really helpful. Recommended.
Great place for soft furnishings. Can lose an hour in here easily! Some excellent, quality bargains. Wide range of choices. I always buy my curtains here...made-to-measure. Always an excellent service and friendly, professional staff.
Bought curtains had them altered took 3 weeks having been told would take 2 weeks, rang up to check and was told its 14 working days not including weekend. Customer care not good by some staff, walk the other way.
Good choice of curtains. Im a bit reluctant to buy from here if I'm unsure about the item I'm buying because they are one of the few places I know that don't do refunds, only exchanges. I think they would do much more business if they weren't so old-fashioned with their returns policy.
