These people are amazing! We went to their store three weeks ago. At first we could not get into the shop as we were struggling to get my dads wheel chair up onto the curb of the pavement outside the store. This was not the stores fault at all and certainly not their problem. However, the wonderful young salesman came out when I said we were struggling and assisted us up the curb and then into the store. In the store we saw numerous riser recliner chairs. Dad saw some he fancied and tried them out. The salesman was extremely knowledgable and at no point whatsoever did he push us into deciding on any particular chair. He could easily have recommended the most expensive one in the shop, but did not. He simply gave us sound advice and nothing more. I had already decided we were not leaving this small independent store without choosing a chair (as long as it was suitable for dad). Well we found the perfect chair. The salesman explained that he could see that dad had a one sided weakness and said he could easily arrange for the controls to be altered so that they would be on the correct side for dad. The chair arrived a couple of days ago and it is truly wonderful. Dad has not tried it yet (due to being in hospital), but I'm sure he is going to be thrilled with it, as he found the chair exceptionally comfortable in the shop. The chair does not dominate our living room like some riser recliners do. It fits/blends in perfectly. Overall, I cannot recommend highly enough Chiltern Care Chairs Ltd. They really are marvelous.
