Sonali is a fantastic pilates teacher! I had 1:1 sessions with her after a lower back injury to get back into pilates safely and build back strength. She did an amazing job tailoring an exercise plan for me both in the studio and for me to do at home between sessions, taking into account advice given to me by medical professionals. Over a few months, I was able to do more and more exercises and eventually get back into classes. She was super knowledgeable, motivating and friendly - I always looked forward to our sessions together. As a bonus, she also gives incredible sports massages which helped to loosen my muscles and get me out of pain. If you’re looking for a pilates PT or sports massage therapist in the area, I couldn’t recommend Sonali enough!
Whilst I do attend Chilli pilates because the studio is convenient to me - I do think they need to change up the routine in terms of the classes. The lesson plans are too boring and structured and many a time you know what youre going to get. The classes arent very dynamic as other studios in the area ive been too and Ive found those way harder and impossible even though ive go to class on a daily! I dont think your classes are really geared to younger clientele, they are boring and really slow. I think you really need to start thinking of more dynamic movements and make things different as opposed to this dull structured approach - which is making me want to leave as a member and join other dynamic ones like zero gravity where you actually feel like a workout, feel your body change and where people running the class are given the autonomy to do what they like. Chilli is boring and very undynamic and doesnt really teach you hard or interesting moves and no this isnt just by using progression techniques, its the whole experience in general.
i have been attending for a few months, the classes attended the instructors are great. I really enjoy it, i also attend a cardio pilates with Glen, that is great. over all you can only judge for yourself, its worth giving it a try though. I would have to agree that you must read the conditions first, The admin staff they are very helpful
I have been attending reformer pilates twice a week since the beginning of this year. I can see and feel the difference already, toned legs and arms and a strong core. The instructors are approachable and experienced, ensuring that you get the best out of every session. Highly recommended!
While the classes are brilliant at Chilli Pilates - Marie who is in charge of membership queries has really let me down in my overall experience here and forced me to look for a new studio.
Love it, as a beginner this was my 1st class definitely would advice the rehab & fundamentals giving you support to focus on the technique.
