Fantastic meal. Best we have had in Swanage! Every course tasted delicious and was presented beautifully - and generous portions too! I could have chosen everything off the menu. Lovely staff too. Will definitely be back.
Lovely small reasonably priced restaurant with excellent service and delicious fresh seafood. We had the specials, a fresh lobster and a fresh fish mixed grill selection. Both beautifully cooked. It is a bit tucked away, and the location is nothing special, but the food more than makes up for it.
I have just realised that for some reason my name is against a 1 star review for Chilled red, I had to rectify this as we dined here twice while on a weeks holiday 4 years ago and id give the place 10 stars if I could, singularly one of the best dining experiences we have ever had
Great meal as usual,worth a visit if in swanage or local area. Have to book this time of year to avoid being disappointed
I found a review in TripAdvisor saying that is is the best place in Dorset, I couldn't agree more. It could be a bit expensive but it is worth it. The service is great, definitely I'm planning to come back.
Phoned to book a table for following evening, fortunately just after someone had cancelled. We had venison with bubble and squeak and lamb with gratin dauphinois plus vegetables. Both were absolutely bloody delicious. 2 puddings to follow. By the time we finished every table was taken. Well worth the price. £30 for 2 courses, £35 for 3 courses. I can't recommend it highly enough. Staff very friendly, welcoming and efficient.

It was great! Food came quite quickly and it was all hot at the same time. Tea was nice as well so probably some kind of premium one. Not your average builders cafe. A little pricey but it's expected. Worth it if you need breakfast fast
We had a fantastic evening at chilled red. The service was friendly and tentative and the food was delicious and very well presented. We had a cracking bottle of wine as well. For the standard, we thought our meal was great value. Best cheesecake I've had for a while...wish I'd had room to try the other amazing-looking desserts!
