What a great plaice! The service was friendly, the portions were generous and the flavours were delicious. They offer unlimited chips too which was a welcome bonus. Also highly recommend the honeycomb icecream.
Amazing food at a reasonable price. I liked to see they cleaned the tables very well with a scrubbing brush and disinfectant. In fact the whole restaurant, including the bathrooms, was spotless.
This is the first time we,'ve used chez Fred delivery . What a brilliant service. Arrived on perfect time. The food was the best fish and chips I ever had . Restaurant closed but take-away and delivery available. Small delay from my collection time but no problem and apologies given when the lady confirming orders spoke to newly arriving customers of which there were many! Fish x 2 large Haddock excellent but will order small portion of chips next time....so many. A real treat.
The best fish and chips ever. Don't live in the area but 12 of us got fish and chips on our recent trip to Bournemouth and it tasted amazing. Their curry sauce was the best I've ever had from a fish and chip shop. 100% would go back if we're in the area again.
Literally how most restaurants should operate. No wonder why they are so popular! The service in the restaurant was super friendly and quick. All the staff just made you feel so welcome. I cannot fault a thing!
The best fish and chips in town. Batter is lovely light and the chips are extremely tasty. A good variation of different potatoes. Service is superb and always very polite and attentive.
Amazing fish and chips, only lost a star because the gluten free option is only available on a Monday. But by far the tastiest cod I've ever had!
Very neat packaging for takeaway but no cutlery or napkins. We ordered the large haddock, regular cod, fries, mushy peas, tartar sauce and a plain jumbo sausage. All tasted superb!
