nWe bought our Ford Transit Custom van—now lovingly known as Janis—from Chestnut Vans two years ago, and we’re still absolutely thrilled with her! Richie was brilliant from start to finish—genuine, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. He really took the time to understand what we needed for our campervan project and pointed us toward exactly the right vehicle. Janis has been super reliable and has taken us on so many adventures without a hitch. We couldn’t be happier with the van or the service we received. If you’re thinking about buying a van, especially for a conversion, we can’t recommend Chestnut Vans and Richie highly enough. Thank you for setting us on the road with confidence!
Richie and Lois are really helpful from start to finish. Richie is straight talking and went above and beyond to help. He's a Ronseal, and does what he says on the tin! I had such a fantastic experience with Chestnut Motors! Richie and his sister, Lois, really went above and beyond.nnWe initially had some issues with our van going into safety mode, and even though it took a while to fix, they never hesitated to cover the costs and provide us with a replacement vehicle in the meantime.nnRichie even restarted our warranty from the day we got the van back, and when the clutch went out during that new warranty period, they replaced it with no questions asked. Lois also helped out by installing a shelving system in the van at a super reasonable price.nnHonestly, anyone can sell you a good van, but it’s the companies that stand by you when something goes wrong that really shine. I’m never going anywhere else for a vehicle again!
I was pretty scared to purchase a new van after my last one let go, and found Richie and his team whilst looking for vans on auto-trader, I couldn’t believe how close to home he was! Really didn’t think I would find the perfect van 15 minutes down the road but out of the selection they have they found me a great van, which has been a massive upgrade for me and a major asset too my business, couldn’t thank Richie and his team enough 6 months down the line and I’m still overjoyed with the van, what a great family run business will continue to recommend them as much as possible.
Recently bought a Transit Custom to convert into a camper - first time buying a van and Richie and Lois were really helpful. The video online was great to see the features before we decided on purchasing. Know their stuff and do it well. Immaculate van and great value for money. Aftercare was spot on too. Will recommend to others and will be coming back if we decide to do it again too!
