Chesterfields Direct Furniture (bespoke made Regency Style Computer Desk and bookshelf) which I bought 11/2017 was tested in an UK laboratory to measure the formaldehyde emissions: formaldehyde concentration is 110 mg/m3. Formaldehyde exposure is hazardous for human heath. Formaldehyde is classified as human carcinogen.

Chesterfields built me a desk with a several bespoke features and were excellent to deal with, very straightforward/professional. It arrived within 4-6 weeks and is perfect, exactly what I wanted and excellent quality, far superior to the "off-the-shelf" desks available at big box retailers. Would very much recommend.
