Just sat in the waiting room waiting for my mam to have an x-ray. And the lady Dianne who works here is just a beautiful human being, listening to the way she talks to and helps every single patient. I wish everyone at the NHS had the same care for their patients as she does.
I would give 0 stars if I could Spoke to a girl called Jessica Reed, absolutely shocking attitude! Should not be working in an environment where empathy is a must! I have made a complaint in the way she dealt with me
A&E Pedeatrics service tonight was so poor. Not the staffs fault, but clearly something wrong when no one is being seen and wait times are at least 8-10 hours. Someone gave up after a 14 hour wait.
Plenty of car parking easy to find, Very warm and welcoming on arrival For my appointment with Mr Wood The place is spotlessly clean and quite Never felt so at ease. The care given is Exceptional By far the best NHS hospital I've ever been to
This review is not aimed at the doctors or nurses but at the reception staff who are about as useful as horse with one leg. I tried to get in touch with my wife’s specialist so that I could leave a message. I was put through to everyone but the correct person. Surely the reception staff should know how to contact the named person? There must be a staff list with the appropriate extension numbers or an internal messaging system? I know we have been through hard times with Covid but this is just pure incompetence with major training required or a refresh of the reception staff!
Had an appointment in the gynecology department yesterday morning an was worried sick not knowing what was going to be done , what an amazing group of staff they have , they put me at ease and even held my hand while I had a examination done , the consultant was lovely as well , so if anyone else is going and worried please don't be as they they are brilliant. Thank you all so much you do a brilliant job .
The team at the Hospital are fantastic. My Dad was on Ward 1 and every one of the staff were first class. Couldn't have asked for anything more. True professionals especially given everything that they have gone through during the pandemic. Thank you so much.
I cannot begin to praise the nursing staff and doctors enough on the gynaecology ward at Chester le Street Hospital. They were lovely down to earth caring folk, total humanistic approach. They treated me with dignity and respect throughout a painful and emotional procedure. A big shout out and a big thankyou. Gill Hunter
Can not thank the staff on ward 1 enough for the care given to our father during his time on this ward. All of the staff are very caring, attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Yesterday I had an appointment under 2 week cancer scheme with gynaecology consultant Mr Wijesari and I can honestly say he was a lovely man as was his student he explained everything to me and put my mind at rest .He was very understanding and professional but proved he was a great doctor with his sense of humour when I was nervous he apologised when procedure hurt but did an excellent job .From entering the hospital and speaking to reception girls to scan staff and has and nurses in department my experience was excellent what a lovely hospital and staff there are at chester le Street community hospital totally restored my faith in our NHS Big thanks to you all x
