A year after ordering Internorm windows and 6 months after install and payment, we are still waiting for Cherwell to fit window cills. The windows are the wrong colour. One incorrectly sized window is only held in place with expanding foam. The back door is too stiff to open. A new garage roof was damaged on installation despite specific requests to protect it. Staff are all lovely to speak to but no action is being taken to resolve issues.
Avoid, avoid avoid. Poor quality products, fitting terrible don't employ fitters its pot luck, awful after sales service. Communication non existent between fitters and office staff. Doors fitted using sellotape, paint came off upvc doors, alu doors installed scratched and touched up with wrong colour and french doors crooked and leaked, they tried to blame our builders. After 2 years, 9 site visits, with 6 different managers and an additional 17 engineer visits they admitted it was their fault and replaced the french doors. One manager told us we couldn't expect to have straight doors . New carpet £1000 water stained, had to buy new blinds only offered £300 compo. Day before the reinstallation they called to say the french doors opened the wrong way. Another 6 weeks later a new set installed but weather seal broken and took another 3 months to fix. Spent £17k on 2 upcv doors & 7 windows, 2 sliding alu & french doors. As well replacing french doors, 2 further windows were replaced,,2 wondows refiited, 1 door rehung and both sliding doors rehung. Still waiting for correctly dated guarantees. Avoid avoid, avoid
To the driver of Yp69klx who thought it was a good idea to cut me up on the m5 near Birmingham almost sending me and my kids Into the side of another vehicle and scaring the s**t of them I hope your company see's this and deals with you appropriately
Very disappointed with my purchase of windows and sliding doors. They messed up the order and sent the wrong windowsills but it was too late as old windows had already been taken out. Windows not put together properly with missing screws on the security plates. Cherwell now avoiding my calls and emails and have blamed their supplier for the sub standard service and products. My advice is to avoid and spend your money with a decent company that stands by its products and doesn’t blame others. I’m actually now seeking legal advice to take them to the small claims court.
Called in to the office in Banbury for a quote, got the hard sell from the salesman. Price was quoted £12,600 for bifold doors. next day I get the call we've got a great offer if you can buy today we can get £2k off!! wow i thought I was back in the 90's! I then went on to obtain 3 more quotes for the same Origin windows coming in at around £8k the ones I went for were £7,500 yes £5,100 less than what they quoted me. Be careful, shop around and absolutely avoid these lot, they should be on the cook report!!
This week I had a new front door fitted by Cherwell windows and I wanted to share the positive and fabulous experience, from choosing the door, advice and information through the process of ordering, measuring and fitting. I cannot thank or praise the team enough! Superb craftsmanship and customer service. I would not hesitate to come back for more! Thank you so much.
Where to start... We chose Cherwell Windows as we have knew of the quality of the Internorm products and wanted to use them as part of our build. The sales process was fine, however, as soon as we signed our order the issues began. After signing the order we lost all contact with the sales representative, which was even more of a challenge when we found the lead time we had been quoted was based on the design sign off, not order sign-off. This wouldn't have been too much of an issue, but it took Cherwell 3 weeks after us chasing to send an engineer to site to measure the window holes. This put us to a 13 week lead time... or so we thought. We expected our windows at the end of August after confirmation of the delivery date from Cherwell. Excited and eager to see our most expensive one-off item on our whole build go in we thought we would call Cherwell at the beginning of the week to ensure access and fitment. After we couldn't get through and no one called us back for 3 days we started to feel like something was up. And then we were told a 4 week delay on the windows...only after we chased them the week they were supposed to be delivered. 4 weeks later the fitment team arrived, great we thought at last we can continue our build as we will be water tight at last. But, half way through the day of fitment we heard one of the fitters there were 5 of them shouting down the phone at we assumed the office. It then transpired that after 2 previous site visits they hadn't bought the right equipment. Lucky our builder was onsite with his cherry picker and they managed to use this to lift the 170kg window into place. Unfortunately, with reducing light and a frustrated fitting team the inevitable happened and one of the large pieces of glass was broken. Now broken glass happens, we get it and the team said they'd get a new piece ordered and left. After work we then decided to have a look around the new windows 3 in total.. and wow, they look great. It was on closer inspection, that we realised that 1 window hadn't been foamed, was missing a strengthening bar and because of this was 10 cm too short to fit the hole. The second window also hadn't been foamed with a 2 inch gap down one side of the window and the third window, also not foamed, broken as mentioned and no caps around the window. We were also missing all the finishing trim and cills. The next day we entered a back and forth with Cherwell as they were insisting the windows were finished and fitted correctly. Eventually a member of the Cherwell team visited and took note of the issues, we asked for plan of action and timing to rectify the issues so we can plan our build accordingly. In the mean time a fitter returned to foam the windows, however, they decided not to bother with one of the windows and left. We still have a gap at the top of the window see pic. 3 weeks after we were told we'd get a plan, we had heard nothing so we started the game of trying to actually speak to someone who knew what was going on. 3 days later and multiple calls we spoke to Cherwell after us calling them and have been told the window replacement is on route and will be fitted with the finishing trim on the 9th of December. However, the missing bar will be delivered on the 13th of January 7 Months on from signing our order. We have very little confidence that Cherwell will have actually manage to do what they say they will. We have had to push back our plastering, decorating and ultimately moving into our property. We understand things go wrong, but all we've asked is for is some care and attention to resolve our issues. No call from management, no proactivity to help us, just silence. It's now mid-November and we've still got a gap in our windows and no plan of action. We're gutted with the whole process and would not recommend using Cherwell as an Internorm or window supplier.

Dear Jim and Ryan, Lee, Brendan, Craig and John - truly excellent ambassadors for your firm -have just left us having fitted two Internorm sliding door units for us in trying high temperatures. They carried this out with great energy, humour and skill and it was a pleasure having them here.
