Very disappointing visit for my first time here. Came due to the website advertised unlimited tea but found out on arrival that they didn't do that. Ok can understand that things change. Ordered Southern Fried Chicken Goujons in a Toasted Wrap with Melted Cheese. Looking at the attached photo shows an untoasted wrap, a single slice of plastic cheese and the limpest, wilted, undressed lettuce ever. Poor show and will never return. When you consider the offer Weatherspoons have within a minutes walk I won't be surprised if this stays open much longer. Cooking by numbers by a chef that cannot count!
Just out for a quick spot of lunch, southern fried chicken burger, combo platter and halloumi fingers. Overall we were happy with the food.
The loveliest friendliest service from Jonathan, Lorna and the kitchen. We felt so welcome. And the fish and chips was delicious. Served on hot plates which makes all the difference and just shows how much attention they pay to detail. Much appreciated. I can’t remember the last time so had such genuine friendly and attentive service in a pub. Thanks so much the guys from The Chequered Flag. We will be back
What you would expect from a hungry horse chain restaurant. Food was fine but nothing special. The toilets were surprising clean and tidy. Staff were very pleasant also. Would recommend for a quick cheap and cheerful family meal.
Had a lovely meal here served by the most loveliest lady, I think her name was Alicia. She was super friendly and running about doing lots of jobs. Thank you for making me and my son feel so welcome
A little cafeteria-like place. The food was really good for the price. Nice atmosphere and comfortable seating. Worth the money.
Awful experience. Waited 20 minutes before could order. Staff taking my order could not answer any of my questions. Tables were sticky and not cleaned. Curry meal was missing poppadom. Curry came cold and chicken pieces looked pink not fully cooked through. Fork had food that was dried and stuck to it i.e. not cleaned properly. Waited 20 minutes after finishing meal and dessert was not forthcoming. Had to go to bar area and ask a member of staff, took another 15 minutes before I got dessert. Will not go back again.
Visited for mid day lunch, great food quick service 20mi. Friendly staff
I visit regularly after work in the afternoon and the girls Alicia,Lorna and Nicole always very attentive and polite , They are always happy when serving,not just me,but other customers as well. All in All a very pleasant establishment and recommend highly
Oh my god this place is amazing. We went two nights on the trot. The food was piping hot and so delicious. Can't wait to go back. The staff were great
