Highly Recommend Tim & Team!! Messaged them on the Saturday evening to look at the vehicle Sunday, Tim handed me over the keys to look at the car no pressure and no fuss either. He's called me 2 days later to say my car is really to be collected with MOT & service done. Outstanding service couldn't recommend more , i was stressing about it all but Tim made it so easy and sorted it all within 20 mins of being there. Thankyou
Well what can I say about Chepstow trade centre its been a over a year now since I bought my car from them I try to buy my vehicle private if I can but for a change I decided to buy from here I had bad experience before in the pass with other dealers but am happy to say my experience was great a few small things but nothing bad really the car badge was missing from the front the car was running on fumes but not a big issue the car it self had a few problems which wasn't told about had to replace all the front suspension arm had a terrible noise the left side window cable was messed up and when I got back the very next morning the boot lock had failed it wouldn't stay close.nnI call them up and explain about the window and boot lock we agreed to get the work done which it was and fair play to them for keeping there word and happy with the outcome and it was very refreshing to see Thank you Tim.nnNow the suspension I put it down to age really since I was going to reverse the lowering that the last owner did note never lower your car to all who are thinking of doing it as I say the car is now 19 years old so it's not really a big issue to me personally nothing really todo with them just wish they had told me that the suspension was a bit noisy due to worn-out bushes.nnApart from that the car is still running still going strong which am happy the car had a lot of paperwork was looked after by one of the last owner which shows. people look after your car keep them going longernnThe vehicle was clean and was in very good condition for the age some work was done before it was sold all paperwork is correct.nnWould I buy from them again yes Tim did his best to deal with the problem that caused and it was great to see a car dealer to keep there word I would recommend them but do your research on the vehicle you are buying and remember things will go wrong as there are used cars not new ones.nnIn all my reviews I try and keep it honest as I can be.nnThe vehicle I purchased was a 2005 Audi S4 V8 4.2 still happy just with car its a love and hate relationship at times!!! still running use as my daily driver nnCar as now gone on a lot of different adventures is still looked after to a high standard.nnA big thank you for giving me a great experience it was a pleasure to deal with you all.
Avoid this place at all costs. I bought a car here at CHEPSTOW CAR DEALERSHITP and within a week it was riddled with electronic faults. Their response? “Leave it with us for a week”—and then do absolutely nothing. No fixes, no updates, just empty promises and wasted time.nnFour months in, the ABS sensor needed replacing. When my mechanic got underneath the vehicle, he found the underside was in a disgraceful state—severely rusted, dangerously worn. It would never pass a legitimate MOT. Yet somehow, it had a squeaky-clean certificate issued by the MOT garage conveniently located next door. You can draw your own conclusions about that arrangement.nnBefore I could even sort the ABS issue, I had to replace the exhaust, suspension, and several other components just to make the car roadworthy. This was not a minor oversight—it was a blatant misrepresentation of the vehicle’s condition.nnI've chased them relentlessly via email and phone. No solutions, no responsibility—just deflection and silence. Their claim about “high standards” is pure fiction. Once they’ve got your money, you’re on your own.nnDishonest, irresponsible, and utterly unprofessional. I wouldn't trust them to sell a bicycle, let alone a car.nnnow this is the reply to my review Reply....nnHi Tim,nnit's a honda civic type RnnI bought it around november 2023, my lawyer has called several times to sort it out and you have not been cooperative at all.nnSo don't want to pretend anything now on social media, I will not rest until you pay for all the damage you have done to me.nnIf you want to sue me Tim do it, maybe that way we can speed up the process.
We recently bought a car from Chepstow Trade Centre and it was a brilliant experience. All the guys there are lovely, knowledgable and don’t put any pressure on you to buy. We’re very happy with our car, a month later still running brilliantly with no issues. Very good deals on warranties and cars. We would definitely recommend buying a car from CTC.
Bought an 2017 Astra here recently and have to say it was a really pleasant experience, everyone was really friendly, helpful and understanding whilst I made a decision! Everything seemed really looked after and cared for, so certainly felt in safe hands.
