Fabulous well stocked cheese shop, with great prices, loads of samples, which is great but means you buy more as every sample is just lovely and you just want to buy some, great marketing technique, but its also good because you can sample before you buy!!! Bought some Charcoal Cheddar, wasn't going to until a sample was passed over the counter....amazing, buy it, goes to show we taste with our eyes sometimes!!! Owner really lovely too. If you like cheese, its a must visit, you won't come out empty handed!!!
At very short notice on the day, I found myself hosting a cheese and wine night. Feeling a little panicked, I phoned this lovely shop for assistance. The gentleman on the phone was amazing and so knowledgeable, even without the helpful information of which wines to pair with as they hadn’t been bought yet. The cheeses were a delight and paired so well with the wines. Would also like to add how very reasonably priced they were. Thank you so much for coming to the rescue!
A lovely and friendly service and a huge range of cheeses with lots of tasters. There were lots of offers on / reduced cheeses which was great for cheese to use on the day. Also sold local preserves/ eggs and the like. I'll be going back!

Marvelous, superb cheese shop. Used to regularly visit when this was in a stall in the market, pon my trips over to Chester. Lively, friendly character. Great cheeses. Great prices. Some real bargains to be had. Absolutely worth sussing out if you love cheese and Chester. It is off the main drag, Watergate Street, but has an A board up on the pavement, so ignore it at your peril. For a small premises, it packs a great variety of produce in. Also sells jams, curds and eggs and, he sells charcoal Cheddar, not everywhere supplies that, well worth purchasing. Free samples of cheeses available too. I am so pleased for this business to have landed on its feet and to have got established here after a rough time. Bravo! I will always call in here when visiting my home city of Chester. Highly recommended. Nom nommm!
This place is amazing! Such a cute little cheese shop. You can try so many different varieties of cheese.
I could go on and on about this place, but if you want cheese simply put GO HERE.
Great place to try before you buy cheese, always very tasty and the staff are a good bunch, had 3 lots of cheese for over Christmas it was amazing.
Placed an order on Tuesday, go my cheese on Thursday. Very good service and the cheese is very tasty. Can't wait to order again
