I went in and clearly asked for my order to the waiter, this did not get repeated back to me whilst purchasing this order and when I got home I realised I was given a portion of of chips rather than chicken meat I ordered. I had to walk 20 minutes back to the chip shop where I told them the problem politely. I was then refused a refund and belittled by the man behind the counter, whilst the rest of my food was going cold. I understand mistakes can happen but the way this man dealt with his mistake was the issue as he argued it was my fault. Overall the food wasn't terrible, (the mushy peas looked a few days old)but lack of customer service skills let the place down, certainly won't be returning again.

Wow chips served with a bit of "panache"! I popped in here with friends mid Brampton mile for a tray of chips with gravy/curry sauce and were pleasantly surprised at the care taken by the man behind the counter as he scooped the chips and poured the sauce!   Chips and sauce were delicious. We sat inside the shop to eat on the little windowsill which the staff didn't seem to mind. Overall a very enjoyable snack!

As a HGV drivers I stop in chesterfield a lot and always love ANYTHING I get from here 
Brilliant food and very welcoming staff 
Got to go down as the best in the country

Get the Chatsworth special with mince sauce on the lamb and garlic mayo on the chicken. Perfect order to satisfy anyone who loves chip shop food
