We parked the car here on Fri night and there was many spaces. However, a bit hard to make payment by using the PhoneAndPay app. Tried different cards and it was not working but finally it was fine. Had exited the car park and re-entered it and didn't cost you twice within the time period. Free on Sun. It is quite full on Sat night and few spaces left.
While the carpark is located in very convenient location, making payment by the App was very awkward. The App is not user friendly at all. Tried to pay by two different cards but just kept on rejecting the payment. After wasting ten minutes, eventually I had to pay by cash.
Nice place to park. Very very close to Brentwood high street. Price is also reasonable
If Brentwood Council were serious about encouraging people to visit and spend money in the High street are they would dump this appalling system of payment. The telephone number option to pay does not take the 5 mins they state it takes more like 15 and signs you up to an account and prompts you to install the app, if you still want to pay via the call you then have to quote your debit card details which it stores with your newly created account. Will not be parking in Brentwood again! Tap and pay is not new and this current system should be scrapped and replaced with one that is user friendly. And just to rub salt in the wound it then txts you reminding you how long you have left and prompts you yet again to install the app. I’m sure the data collected is a breach of Data Protection as no prior warning was given that they would be storing your personal data!
Plenty of spaces. Make sure you have cash I didn't recognise the parking app. Convenient for the High Street. Would like more lighting but there was just enough at night
