I honestly couldn't praise this vets enough. We’re currently on holiday and our 4 year old dog was suddenly unwell today. We’re staying nearby to Charter Vets so gave them a ring and they advised us to take her down there for them to check her over. I was very worried and upset when we arrived, not helped by being 5 months pregnant! We didn’t have to wait for Willow to be seen and Kate took me into a private room for some privacy and was very reassuring and lovely while Ed checked her over. We were given a few options but ultimately came away with some painkillers, probiotics and advice on a gentle diet for the next few days. Other pet owners in the waiting room were lovely too, checking I was alright. I couldn’t thank Kate and Ed enough, they were so lovely, caring and wonderful with us, and I wish we were local so this could be our local vets!
Ziggy our 1 year old bouncy boy had a abdominal castration today the staff were excellent. He came out so happy and as a pet owner that's all you can ask for. I was also kept informed on how he was doing. They did also find a potential grade 1 heart murmur and called me before the operation. Anything found has been caught early. I feel they was very thorough and gave us all the help & advice we needed. The nurses and reception staff were very reassuring. Highly reccomend. P.s I love the military onesie it suits us being a military family! Thank you for taking care of our baby!
Our dog Hops was referred to Charter via Rosemullion Vets in Cornwall. Due to the anxious nature of Hops, we opted to have a few phone conversations and exchange photos and emails before putting her through what may have been fairly upsetting travel and life-changing jaw surgery. Tom has been the most helpful, professional and empathetic vet I've had communication with and I've not even met him. He has been a huge support to me through learning Hops has mouth cancer and the heart-breaking journey we are on at the moment. I really can't speak highly enough of Tom want to thank him immensely via a 5 star review. He's made a big difference to me during this tough time. I wouldn't hesitate to take a dog to Tom and trust he would only do what was best for that individual dog.
Tom was absolutely amazing with our little boy Ronnie. There was more dental work to do than anticipated but he kept us informed and explained everything in detail. He was great with our little chap. Thanks Tom
We attended Charter vets following a referral from our regular vet. What a wonderful experience. Tom was fantastic, very friendly and informative. We also had a lovely student nurse who gave great after care advice and was also very friendly. Very pleased with the service all round. Would 100% recommend. Thank you for looking after our dog!
