My dog hates it here but what does she know?  Honestly the staff here are truly wonderful. So incredibly patient and understanding with my very nervous dog. The Healthy Pet Club is a fantastic service, too.

Very professional but also personable and caring . They were lovely when I had to lose my dog before Christmas which was very hard.

Our Lizard needed his nails cut and he was having a problem shedding. Rita went out of her way to research the best way to help him due to his breed. He now enjoys a bath, Thankyou Rita

We were on holiday in the area when we noticed that our dog had a tick. We contacted Argyll vets in Barnstaple and within an hour of our phone call we had made an appointment and the tick had been removed at a very reasonable cost. Fantastic service and many thanks.

Went for the first time last Saturday to the argyll vets Barnstaple  took my dog for her annual jabs I purposefully picked this vets as they have what's called a healthy pet club where you can pay a small payment monthly for jabs, grooming or checks etc it also offers discount on surgeries or medicines and get monthly flea, tick and worming treatment for £16.99. It's a small vets but I find these are best organised and more caring staff, very friendly nurses and vets who were welcoming to not just myself my dog aswell who adores attention. Certainly a step above my old vets witten Park vets who are just in it for the money and certainly not as friendly. You feel at ease at argyll vets they didn't judge my dog for breed as have had previously with her being a Belgian malinois even though she's the softest thing in the world and didn't leave the vets till she had give kisses and cuddles to all the staff in there

We were in Braunton on holiday with our small dog when we noticed she had a tick on the side of her face. Argll Vets were very kind and help us straight away with removable of tick and checking her over . Highly recommended

Very friendly, good doggy doctors well in my case they are doggy doctors

Staff very competent. But many customers, having had animals knowing they could walk to the vets, are now distraught at the decision to make the nearest.vets 5 miles away. This means taking sick animals on a bus. If anyone has collected an anaesthetised dog, they will know how impossible that makes it. So customer and animal welfare compromised because of their decision to close the practice in one of the bigger towns in North devon
