Visited during the week and found a very relaxed atmosphere. We sat by the side of the pond at the rear of the cafe. A lovely spot especially on a warm day. The food was great especially the chilli chips. Plenty of parking and we had a quick service. Would recommend.
Recently visited for a friend's wedding and i was very impressed with the whole experience. The grazing tables during the day we're very tasty and lots if choice and that includes vegetarians. The staff are very friendly and i could see they we're smiling even though masks was mandatory. Also there is a very large carpark with ample parking. The food served in the evening was a buffet style and again very tasty and lots of choice, the chicken especially was delicious. There is also a separate bar/pub on site, again this was 10/10. Look forward to visiting again in the near future.
On Saturday I conducted my first wedding at the fabulous Charnock Farm. A beautiful candlit, twilight ceremony for Nancy and Tim. Claire and her team were fabulous, making me feel so welcome and creating such a romantic atmosphere with thousands of fairylights, candles lighting the aisle and best of all a roaring log fire! Guests cheered, laughed and cried happy tears as they listened to Nancy and Tim's love story. I highly recommend this beautiful venue if you are planning a celebration and want something special & a little different.
We had lovely time here today. Sat outside bar had coffees and tuna sandwiches with chips. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The guy got me oak milk from the cafe and went to the cellar for mayonnaise, what a nice guy. We never say nice reviews enough but are quick to write a bad one. Well done to the staff.

We went to a wedding here. The atmosphere, location and the facilities were lovely. Good food and good music. Only criticism was that drinks were a little pricey. I would go again.
Listen up bride and grooms to be,this is a lovely little hidden gem,I attended a wedding here yesterday ,the wedding ceremony, wedding breakfast, and evening reception all under one roof, the staff were amazing and couldn't do enough for us,there was lovely little seating areas for us oldies to have quiet drinks if we wanted,lovely comfy rooms to stay in and cute pods for a different experience, the next morning we all watched ducks being fed in the pond outside after a delicious cooked breakfast,I believe they had donkeys too,highly recommended.
It has changed a lot. There are now independent stores selling a myriad of items. I adore the animal farm with the shetland ponies and donkeys. The ducks are so funny
Me and friends visited the cafe, received great customer service and the hospitality was great. A nice and warm environment and the place is surrounded by ducks.
Awesome location, clean room, spacious, nicely furnished and immersed in the countryside. The only downside is that, if you do not have a car, you will starve there or more simply take a taxi to the closest village. They do not have food there: just some nibbles three days a week. There is a nice cafe that closes at 16.30.
